More Pixie Punks. The dolls are kinda rubbish but their clothes are great. Haven't found any other doll who can fit their shoes though, which is a shame becuase they're cool boots.

The shot was made with macro-rings. Manual settings/no auto-focus/no flash.
When I was little my Grandad would tell me his stories of a tiny pixie with a big hat and the creatures of the forest he would meet and help.
I have been toying around with the idea of a Pixie Shoe with a pointed toy for babies for quite a while now, and this is what I have come up with.
I just used some Linen scraps that I had floating around and it's worked out quite well (I think :-)
It's fully lined with all the interior seam hidden, so it's comfortable for a baby to wear.
I'll be trying out a few different fabrics, and maybe use one fabric for the lining and another co-ordinating fabric for the outer. I've also got a few ideas for screenprinting onto the fabric as well :-)
I might make larger sizes with non-slip soles in the future as well.
I might also add some sort of elasticised area at the back to help keep them on the feet more securely.
And yes, i think I will also try and make them in bigger sizes, for adults too!

The El Rey was the backdrop for the official coming out party for Kim Shattuck who joined the Pixies replacing Kim Deal on Monday. Hardcore Pixies’ fan lined up a few hours early so they could lean against the stage as Black Francis and the rest of the Pixies played an hour and fifteen-minute show. The Pixies fans danced and sang in a impassioned style as a blissful Black Francis ran swiftly through their 26 song set which included “Tame,” “Gouge Away,” “Hey,” and their new song “Bagboy” from their latest four-song EP titled EP-1.
Black Francis howled as Joey Santiago cranked his guitar with that oh so Pixies alt sound. Bassist Kim Shattuck bounced and stirred and participated in backing vocals blending easily into her new job. Surprisingly “La La Love You” a Pixies standard was absent during this show along with Joey Santiago’s guitar solo which usually involved improvised use of drumsticks, beer bottles, and the banging of his guitar on the floor which was present during the Doolittle and Lost Cities Tour.
What was expected to be a ninety-minute performance fell short of the three songs on the set list as the Pixies walked off the stage as Black Francis waived.
The crowd shouted one more song and refused to leave the El Rey chanting for an encore that never came as security personnel attempted to usher the crowd out as a David Bowie song was played on the PA system signaling that the show was over.
