I finally finished my Pixel Socks a little while back! This was a looooong project - not in the least because I spun the colored yarn on my drop spindle 😅 I've probably worked on this pair for tiny bits all along our Pan-American trip... I love it when projects come associated with so many good memories!

Had this idea in my head for a while as when it rains on your phone you get little drops of rain which act like little lens and you can see the pixels.
Thanks for apple for making a "waterproof" screen.
When you compare this photo with the following one from the Samsung S22+ I think you will realize why I am so satisfied with the Pixel! Much better dynamic range. Also doesn't frequently overexpose as the Samsung frequently does.

Theme: Pixel Sorting
Thank goodness for the internet and pixelsort.me for letting me complete this theme, late though I was doing the post-processing.
Between the end of Blue Hour and the start of a red Sunrise, the sky above Kingston Foreshore changed to a unusual subtle shade of purple. Inspiring and calming. The scene was further enhanced by the reflections of lights from Lake Burley Griffin.

I acquired the photograph (8272 x 6200 pixels) with an ISO of 100. I did not record the exposure time nor the aperture.
Post-processing ...
Finder - Removed the CF card from the camera digital back and placed it in a Lexar 25-in-1 USB card reader. Then used Finder on my MacBook Air to download the raw image file (3FR extension) from the card.
Lightroom - Imported the 3FR image. Applied a standard metadata preset (20161110 Import 001) during the import process.
Lightroom - Used the Map module to add the location details to the EXIF header.
Lightroom - Used the Spot Removal tool (Clone mode) to attenuate a number of sensor dust spots.
Lightroom - Made various lighting and color adjustments to the image.
Lightroom - Saved the Develop module settings as a preset.
Lightroom - Output the image as a JPEG image using the “Maximum” quality option (8272 x 6200 pixels).
PhotoSync - Copied the JPEG file to my iPad Mini for any final processing, review, enjoyment, and posting to social media.
