A miniature! If you’re like me, you’ll need to put on your glasses to appreciate this!
I took it with a 75-300mm lens from some distance away. These friends are gathered under the warning sign at the end of the jetty at Bearskin Neck, Rockport Massachusetts.
I couldn’t really see what they were doing, but it looked like they were having fun!
Apps: Quickshot, Distressed FX, Pixelmator, Prisma and Snapseed
collagematerial aus zeitschriften..rumgespielt...mit i phone fotografiert..mehrfachbelichtung in phone. entwickelt und farblich neu designt mit app pixelmator. 2021
An article I read on a photography site mentioned to sometimes turn around or look in a different direction to see what others might not be taking images. In this case, I decided to take a wider angle view of Maroon Bells. I wanted to capture more of the nearby hillsides and mountain peaks, including some of the photographers to my front. I thought the wider angle view including the peaks of Maroon Bells, with a glass-like reflection on the lake waters, the people taking photos, and the nearby hillsides added for a richer, fuller image of the Maroon Creek valley.
Apps: Snapseed, Photoshop, Pixelmator, Photos (iPad Pro)
So many apps used although I was trying for a photo with minimal post-processing. I used Snapseed to add vignetting and some selective edits. Photoshop to reduce noise. Pixelmator to combine 2 versions. Photos to adjust lighting and crop.
I’ve not been back to the mountains this year, but am eager to pull on my hiking boots and be above the clouds once again.

I think we all could use a Bear Hug about
Now ! Don’t Forget to Love One Another !
“When you got no one you can confide in,
don't forget love
In every story there's a secret hiding,
don't forget love
When you're taking when
you could be giving
When you're dying and you could be living,
Don’t Forget Love “

Time to take off! Thanks for the visit and your comments!
There are not many groups that I have found to display Wombo works, so I have created one. Please be patient with me, as I have never done this before. Please check it out!

I've been asked how I produce these pictures so here's a very brief summary. Basically Midjourney is an engine (or 'bot') that you can run within Discord. When running Midjourney, you ask the bot to 'imagine' a particular picture by putting the description of that picture against a 'prompt'. So for example for this picture I asked Midjourney to imagine a 'face shot of young julie delpy in before sunrise, slim face, wavy blonde hair, realistic small hands, red finger nails'. I also told the bot how I wanted the picture to look in terms of photorealism, lighting, resolution, picture proportions etc.
The bot then generates pictures based on your prompt. You can take these as they are, generate variations of them, or rerun the prompt to generate fresh ideas.
When you're happy you can upscale the picture for download and processing. I usually find I need to run the picture through photo restoration software to correct minor facial defects, and I then process the picture as I would have done my Second Life pictures. Hope this all makes sense! Over the next couple of days I'll show two more of my 'Julie' pictures to show how you can play around with different ideas
