Zupi`s Art & Design Conference in Memorial da Amériica Latina.
More than 3 thousand artists and professionals, live painting, live music, break-dancing and lectures!
We're not exactly sure of Pixel's birth date, but we estimated she was around 6 weeks old when we first spotted her outside in the garden - the vet verified her approximate age at her first check up, so we gave her the same birthday as Willow, to commemorate our old girl.
Anyway, Happy 1st Birthday, dear Pixel! She's grown into a fine, fat tabby, and is such a nice-natured kitty! I am so glad we found you in our garden. <3
Probably the most well-known cliché shot from any Open House London, this is something I've wanted to see for 4 years now - but never made it until this Sunday. The atrium is within the Allen & Overy offices in One Bishops Square. The balls stretch up several floors and change colours, shortly after getting the nice reds it all went white until we'd left.

I used Processing 3.3.6 and ASDF PixelSort and the result was achieved more by luck than judgement :-)

Next stop was just to the west of Haigler Nebraska. Where there is no cell reception ... which means no radar data and no calls. Had to do this old school, which is fine by me. I didn't have smart phones and or instant data for storms before 1995. Though my partner in training was a little concerned we had it covered!
Beautiful Nebraska Supercell structure impending into our area in Southwest Nebraska. Just over the border from the Colorado state line. Creeping slowly about 14 knots per hour. We would be in position to encounter this tornado warned storm for the 3rd time this day.
Incredibly photographic structure from top to bottom on this cell. With all of our cameras focused on this event, can you say right place at the right time!

Song In this Moment - Sick like me
"I'm beautiful As you tear me to pieces
You are beautiful Even at your ugliest,
I always say You're beautiful and sick like me"
This round's last photo presents to you a variety of items from creators that have worked hard to bring you some perfect additions to your wardrobe. First up, Pixel art with their Hunger eye. It's got it's eye on you and is ready to gobble up all those pesky leering peepers. Then we have Stiff with the Morwenna top as part of their outfit for this round! the outfit has a variety of textures and colors to choose from as well as jean shorts (not pictured) to go along with the top that gives you a little bit of a peak of what's underneath. Last, we have Absence with their Rea Shorts which have so many color options for each piece that you can pair it with many other items easily.
Pixel Art - Hunger Eye - SABBATH EVENT
Stiff - Morwenna Top - SABBATH EVENT
ABSENCE - Rea Shorts - SABBATH EVENT
------------------------------------------------------------
Not part of the sabbath event, but still equally as important we have two fantastic items from [AERTH]. As always AERTH has put out a breath-taking body tattoo which can be seen in parts against the ribs and arms in this photograph. However, the tattoo itself is also one that extends in to the legs as well. It comes in a variety of different color options and has materials enabled options! Then AERTH went even further to make a set of witch marks for your faces compatible with bom and evox! they are tintable! Each piece has a variety of opacities as to choose as well as separate pieces for you to mix and match.

Final version of this scene. The clouds were think and rolling in the wind and I tried a more balanced approach to the city buildings and river. Please see my other two versions of the Boston Skyline on my Flickr site.

Using the portrait effect. Wind kept the precision of the composition out of my hands. Took several versions. I think this is closest to the DSLR version.
In the beginning of August 2021 we went to Goldfield Nevada, an old historic mining/ghost town in the Mojave Desert, Southwest United States of America, for Goldfield days. Had a great time walking around taking photos of the town and its great people. There was a parade, bank robbery with cowboys, chili cook off, and a lot of cool and interesting people walking around. Was like going back in time.

My sister rescued Dingo a few years ago and you couldn't ask for a better dog. He's my sister's baby.... does that make Dingo my nephew?
The light was really nice, so I grabbed the nearest camera and took a few photos of Dingo. Later, I zoomed in close for a critical look and noticed something odd. I thought, hmmm, I don't think Dingo has dandruff. I checked out the dog and the photos some more and then googled 'bright pixels' and sure enough, there is a sensor defect resulting in 'stuck' pixels. So, there you go, now my old SX10IS is defective. Well, I can live with that amount of defective pixels, I suppose... but there are quite a few of them that will always require some cloning out.
Have not seen any for a few weeks and today, there was a bunch of them frolicking about. For whatever reason, they just seemed to be enjoying themselves. According to the Merlin app, they gather to in large flocks to roost and eat berries in the fall and winter... which is exactly what they were doing

Tried something a little different with my setup on this shoot. Decided to put the camera in One Shot instead of AI Servo mode. Burst rate increased (kept in high-speed shooting) over Servo, and focus seemed to better. Hit rate also appears to be increased as well.
I know Servo mode is a little less reliable than One Shot is. Knowing that I am primarily looking mainly for perched birds, seemed a good decision. I think I'll keep it set that way for any decent winter days I can get outside.
Also maintained shooting with the camera in Crop Mode (1.6) which does allow for it to be zoomed-in in the viewfinder, giving me a larger target to focus on. I’m actually a fan of this feature because it allows me to focus better on composition since it crops the photo at the time of shooting versus doing it in post... which has to be cropped anyway. Subject size is the exact same size if I were to have done it in full frame, but again, benefits of this mode are above.
Effective focal length here is 1280mm if you factor in the 1.6 crop mode and the 800mm. Only a slight finishing crop to a 4:3 ratio and overall reduction in pixels for post.
testing the new Fujifilm GFX 100-s with the Pixel-Shift method. !6 shots (moves the sensor) merged by Fuji software, into a 1.5 Gb file and then processed with Photoshop
