Photography in the winter is tough in Fairbanks. The light is rarely good, and the temps are often way below zero.
I'm out looking for things to shoot with my new camera but conditions don't really agree with me. Still, after driving around and boring my dog for hours i found something to shoot.
In case you've never seen it before, this is the transalaska pipeline. It runs 800 miles from the north slope to Valdez and bring you the oil that we drill up here everyday.
This one would have been better had the peoples legs not been in it.
Maybe I'll see if I can crop them out without too much damage to the pictures quality.
