One of the more spectaculars sunset skies and its reflection on windows and the Burrard Inlet. Tiny lights in distance are those on a ship at anchor.

但很開心，在這邊遇到了野生的歐教授&小艾將，莫文蔚的爹遙大，有變瘦的湯小米桑，很美的蘇菲阿姐，超美的希希大大，還有很酷黑有造型的那位(掩面，我忘記那位前輩的名號了~泣)，聽說是情義相挺的地陪LEN大(雖然沒有見到面的說~泣)，以及陪偶餵蚊子站壁的小蔡大大~!

無止盡的晨昏 ~Cheapter XIV

While most mountain hikers are not familiar with “Nanzilin” in Mandarin, they know it very well by its Taiwanese name, “Nan-a-min.” Situated beside the Nanya Fishery Port and Settlement of the Northeast Coast, at 81.2K, Coastal Highway, it is also called the Dapuwei Mountain. The Nanzilin Hiking Trail is only 990m long and a round trip only takes an hour. Along the way, you will be able to enjoy rare views of a lush green low-altitude mountain range. On the mountain top,you can enjoy a panoramic view of the Nanya Settlement, Bitou Cape, Keelung Islet, Wu Er Cha Hu Mountain, Caoshan Plateau and Keelung Mountain. Don’t forget to drop by the Nanya Settlement for its graceful little bridges and streaming waters, green shades and traditional stone architecture.

點點漁火還是一如往常，繁祿得在海面上忙進忙出，枯蹲在這裡，看著這朵岩石上的星雲好似無語的旋轉著，海風無醇露，卻也讓偶跟著醉了~

Yehliu Geopark is truly a park of natural wonders: rocks carved by wave-cutting and weathering over years and years were formed into shapes resembling figures that are real. The most famous one is of course the Queen’s Head, among other “statues” that are named the Fairy’s Shoe, the Mushroom Rocks, the Tofu Rocks, and the Elephant Rocks, along with many interesting potholes. Do not forget to bring your camera.

After every darkness, light is reborn.

It begins as a faint glimmer in the east, the seemingly impossible return of hope out of darkness, and then the entire sky may rapidly bloom like a field of wildflowers after the rain.

I’m early. No one is around, only Tidda and me. And the sea. Fog is obscuring the horizon. Shadows and shapes comingle. Ravens walking on dark sand are nearly invisible. It’s still hard to see things clearly, and yet this is the time when the clarity of all things is overwhelming.

Beauty is the nature of existence. I watch as heavenly hues give birth to a new sky. The elements feel loose and free. No place holds more truth than the open space above the sea.

大燒大彩的歡呼過後，我還是獨愛這入夜時，微風吹拂的此刻~

但，從可以睥睨華麗夜景的山頂，瞬間淺入四下無人、連個路燈都沒有的黑暗步道，還是讓偶心驚驚ㄚ~(汗) 忽然覺得，硬漢嶺的好漢坡有人性多了~

Después de unos días de lluvia la borrasca se retiraba, suelen ser las mejores oportunidades para encontrar cielos interesantes y limpios, así que madrugón, un café rápido y a la carretera, que en domingo a las seis de la mañana te la encuentras para ti solo prácticamente..

Una vez instalado el trípode en un lugar estratégico ( y un poco peligroso, también hay que decirlo) , a esperar ese amanecer y a disfrutar de esos momentos y ese lugar.

The full Moon in June is called the Strawberry moon that coincides with a short summer period of strawberries, and it is also much more colourful when rising above the horizon compared to other months. This year, it also coincides with the summer solstice and appears full for 3 evenings, the solstice Strawberry moon. Moonrise was around 11 pm, hence two images were taken: one for the moon at 1/30, f8 and the other for the foreground at 5s, f8, blended together in PS. The Cotswold Way, Lansdown. This is 3 exposure HDR, processed with all the usual suspects, however I didn't apply any sharpening programs or filters to the sky and clouds, just the moon, which is really there, and not composited in any way.

I used my 100-400mm telephoto, at 236mm. I took some 400mm images, but you don't see enough of the cloud. I set up the tripod right outside my house when I got back from my walk, at about 5pm. The foliage in front is a bush growing above one of the neighbor's rooflines.

Of the dozen or so shots I took, using the timer on the EOS-R so there would be no camera shake, I like the composition of this one the best.

I spent another awesome couple of days in the Little Karoo this weekend… I spent most of Saturday afternoon driving around and looking for new and interesting compositions for a sunset shoot... I did find one or two possible locations which weren’t too bad… but I finally settled on this view of the Calitzdorp dam.

Nikon D300, Sigma 10-20mm at 10mm, aperture of f13, with a 1/2 second exposure.

I had planned to photograph the Wyher moated castle. When I arrived there, everything was overgrown with hedges and bushes, so you couldn't see that the castle was in the water - that never makes for a good photo, I thought... Then I remembered that the Ostergau swamp was very close by - so I had to change my plans. But it took some time to get there - and I wanted to photograph the sunrise.

Then I was in the car park. Now it was a matter of minutes! Pack up my equipment and run off. I found a suitable spot. There were wisps of fog on the ponds. Take off my backpack, set up the tripod, quickly, quickly! The sun is about to come out! Take out the camera, carefully, quickly attach the lens, it's stuck! Damn it! Do it, man!! Attach the ground glass. Then I looked through the camera: That never makes for a good photo - further forward, run, to the left... now it might be right... And everyone always says: Analogue photography is for slow down!!! Really!

Wanli is a unique place in northern Taiwan renowned for its very special geographical features: rocks of peculiar, amazing shapes formed by volcanic lava through millions of years of wave-cutting and weathering. Yehliu Geopark, with its numerous naturally-carved stone “statues,” is a must, not just in Wanli, but in the whole North Coast area. Come and marvel at the natural wonders.

Besides the Geopark, there is also the Ocean World, with performances of dolphins and sea lions to entertain visitors, as well as an undersea tunnel where you can see the creatures in the sea.

In addition, there is a bicycle track for you to enjoy the natural beauty on the hills and mountains of Wanli. Lined with green forests all the way, this track is a good choice for sport and relaxation.

這漂流木，若不仔細看，還真的會以為，誰在這裡方便了........

Loving the gorgeous pink candy floss clouds on the horizon

An early November morning begins softly and beautifully at this Portage County farm.

I was hoping to get the Moon setting this morning but I'd left it a bit late .This however was my reward,

I didn't realize I had a photo from this bay with a sunstar and also on closer inspection - bad habit of not changing from my reading glasses to my computer glasses- I see there is a figure standing atop of the rock formation that really gives it scale. I would not delete the previous photo as the faves and comments mean a great deal to me...

I was ecstatic getting two sunsets from this wet and extremely windy holiday and obviously took the opportunity to grab them..

The other landscapes I got on this holiday were a chance for me to start using my old heavy manfrotto pro tripod that I had put away because of the weight of it. I bought a manfrotto befree but knew it would not be up to the winds you get on the cliffs and beaches of Northwest Cornwall.

It was a good holiday despite the mostly inclement weather..

My mom always used to say that when we were kids. Not really sure what it means. :)

基隆，外木山海濱，Waimu-Mountain Coastal, KEELUNG~

Waimushan seashore is the longest natural seashore remaining in Keelung City with a length of 5 kilometers from Waimushan fishing port to Aoditong Village. With the open seashore on one side and towering marine cliffs on the other, the coastal scenery is spectacular.

As the only remaining sandy seashore in Keelung, the beach near Aoditong Village is small but magnificent. In summer, people go to the beach and have fun swimming. The nearby Octopus Swimming Pool is also a great choice for some fun for people who are afraid to swim in the sea. The sunrise at sea in summer is a view not to be missed. It is always refreshing to listen to the sound of the crashing waves and watching the changes of colorful clouds. The seashore and the reef rocks sculptured by the ocean over a long period of time are also a must-see.

Here is another Vertorama of that amazing pre-sunrise sky that we had in the Little Karoo last Sunday morning.

Although I really liked the composition of the photo that I posted on Monday (with that little cottage in the upper right-hand corner)… I was also acutely aware that I’d only managed to include a small fraction of the gorgeous pinkness that filled the sky at that moment.

So… as soon as I’d captured the two images for my preferred composition… I swung the camera around on the tripod… and shot this.
