Since my girl is my usual subject for photos, at our last trip to the playground I tried to find other things to shoot. I have some other photos of random things at the playground, but this is the only one I've had time to edit so far.

today i went to meet a former co-worker for lunch...and i saw these unusual looking pinecones when i was waiting for her. what's a girl to do but photograph it...and share its beauty with you. :)
Cowboy Studio Softbox, 24x24 portable unit with a Nikon SB900 at 1/8 power fired via PCB CyberSync one light.
Picked up cone at Sweetwater Creek State Park.

Another little handmade ornament to put away. It was little big for the tree so maybe next year , I’ll make smaller ones.

This is a photo I took of a pinecone in our backyard. We have a lot of pinecones lying around and I thought it would be a good photo to take.

Forest Lake morning. Experimenting with the 100 mm macro still, it’s a great lens but I’m learning to hold it and use it, it’s heavy on the front of the M50 and that’s leading to more shake than normal and I already shake. I’m using the monopod to Support and I’ll see how that goes. I’m loving it when I get a good shot though
