Went to RHS Wisley with a friend and fellow photography enthusiast. Was surprised as to how much there was to photograph and how colourful the gardens were. Taken 30th September, 2014 on a day that was as warm as if it were the height of Summer
At the far end of the beach at Budleigh Salterton, is the mouth of the River Otter, which is recognisable by this line of pine trees.
My wife and I have a number of pine cones in our yard. This pine cone is seen on the pavement on the side of the street.

Water accumulates at the ends of the long ponderosa pine needles, forming droplets that hold together by surface tension.
Here are a couple pine cones with snow on them. I am using this image for my 2013 calendar - if anyone else wants to use it please contact me.
