Day 179, This photo in the frame was taken by our good friend Kim , and we were lucky enough to get a print of it for Christmas. It was taken during her 365 while we were out celebrating my birthday in Brooklyn.

So... you would think that someone who takes bunches of pictures would have at least some of them up on her walls. Well, not me. I am sooo bad at actually printing my pictures and putting them on display. Don't really know what my problem is. I'm not just talking about my artsy, flowery type of pictures, I'm talking about family pictures, pictures of my husband and me, pictures of my daughter! Ugh, I am so bad.

Anyways... I finally got a fire under my butt and printed a bunch and got frames for them. It's been my project this weekend and I'm loving it. I think I'm on a printing kick now 'cause I have about 50 more pictures waiting to be picked up at Costco! Yay!

A picture framing lesson from Matt D.

I actually made several of these for a baby shower. During the shower they will contain different pics and hold descriptions of foods being served. At the end of the shower, guests will receive them as favors and the idea is that they'll be able to use them as pictured above. The "caption" is printed on card stock and held to the frame with mini clothes pins. I'll have details on my blog tomorrow, www.namesakedesign.blogspot.com.
