Our friends Sam and Sarah moved out of the city a few years back and bought an old house in the country, with nothing but trees and fields all around. This picture frame hangs from a tree near their deck. Somehow, framing the natural view like a portrait or window acts as a subtle reminder to appreciate it all.

Been wanting to do one of these shots for some time now. Finally remembered that I had this awesome (albeit ragged) antique art frame tucked away "in case I needed it for something". This is one of those cases that being a packrat came in handy. LOL
Believe it or not, the reason why I like this one best out of all the attempted "framed" shots I took is because of the shadow on my face. I'm weird. I know. :P

A mini family reunion at my 94-year-old great grandmother's house with my grandfather, great aunt and uncle, sisters, brother-in-law, and cousin.
the print in the frame is not crumpled, its a reflection of a rubber plant.
