Here is my second attempt at a glass gem mosaic picture frame. as before I used a picture frame with a mirror surround as a substrate but this time for a 3x3 inch picture. Two rows of glass gems were used rather than three and this time the gems do not overlap leading to a much more level edge which makes it stand much easier.

Born in Texas, he later moved to Washington State. Self taught, he began painting and drawing as a child. He’s had many one man shows and participated in numerous group shows over his thirty year career. He was a featured artist at Bumbershoot in 1998 and he’s been a member of the Puget Sound Group since 1990.

A "do it yourself" digital pictureframe I made from an old IBM Thinkpad 600 laptop. The project was inspired by this guy's version I found online www.tacosntonic.com/pictures/Projects/Digital Picture Frame/
The frame/laptop is equipped with a USB wifi card and automatically updates the pictures from my flickr account using the screensaver "Slickr". I also installed a VNC program so I can control the laptop remotely if I need to.
If you have an old laptop kicking around thats to slow for anything else I'd suggest making a similar project.
This very old picture frame was at Goodwill. Someone took out the picture, but left the backing paper... an old ad for Edison Diamond Disc Photographs. 1920s, maybe?
This is a really pretty way to display your earrings. The color of the frame is a very soft light pink. The mesh I used allows you to easily slip your earrings in and out of it.
I attached a pretty dark pink satin ribbon to the frame so you can easily hang it on your wall.
The frame measures 7 1/2" x 9 1/2".

Just upload a new picture each day wireless at these digital pictureframes from Samsung. Or just upload a bunch and have them displayed each after some time...
