Here is my latest Button Picture Frame! This one is a combination of White and Pastel Vintage Buttons. and is accented with Rhinestones. The pin is a cute Bunny pin. Could be great for Easter!

I have seen this done before and wanted to try my hand at it. It wasn't difficult to do but I'm still disappointed. It has nothing to do with the picture itself, just the idea of it looks cooler and works better with a bigger picture frame. But sadly...this is the biggest one I have. Oh how I long for my own studio with my own props. mmmm....props and backgrounds and lighting (oh my!)
I added two textures to my picture again. I'm starting to get back into textures as a way to spice them up while I wait to go cloth shopping in Ohio. I hope to get some good backdrops to hang...somewhere in my room. It just gets old seeing the same brick/concrete wall or my ugly shower curtain. I really miss the beautiful red one Shawna had...*pouts*
Anyway, the textures I used were "white xmas" and "Vintage khaki" by Pareeerica
TRF: I heard from the magazine people today. They got my cancellation and wanted to "reduce" the price to $10 a month. But I told them I can't do it...ANYTHING is too expensive for me right now. So she said she'd pay the $20 and so I'd get a year's worth of 2 free magazines. Not sure which ones I'll get but I'm proud of myself. Yay assertiveness!!
I recently started altering blank wooden frames for an up-coming craft fair I am participating in as a vendor (it will be my first time). I used a gorgeous patterned paper and some Distress Ink to really make it pop.
Two of our picture frames currently not in use. I like the no-nonsense approach to them. Only wish they came in pig colour too..
Same lightbox setup as before. DIY strobist approach with two Vivitar 285HVs on either side at 1/16th power.

The lighting wasn't the greatest earlier today, but it was sufficient :)
This is made up of double-pleat square spread twists with a large gap between them. The gaps are shortened with flattened pleats and the bordering intersections of the flattened pleats are inverted to the back. This vibrant, colourful canvas needed a frame worthy of the artwork. This intricate, red frame with high-gloss finish is the perfect addition.

Blog | Google+ | Facebook | This locket was left behind in an abandoned house in Tongyeong, South Korea. Could this be a former resident? A daughter or granddaughter? I later made a trip back to this house to find the kitchen roof had completely collapsed, but the locket still remained. Residents in the surrounding properties had been evicted, the buildings scheduled for demolition. The same phenomenon can be seen throughout Korea, the worst in Gangnam, as the government evict the elderly (those who fought to build the economy the country now benefits from today) from their crumbling Sae-maeul era properties, making way for more modern development. True 'Gangnam Style.'
