I have seen this done before and wanted to try my hand at it. It wasn't difficult to do but I'm still disappointed. It has nothing to do with the picture itself, just the idea of it looks cooler and works better with a bigger picture frame. But sadly...this is the biggest one I have. Oh how I long for my own studio with my own props. mmmm....props and backgrounds and lighting (oh my!)
I added two textures to my picture again. I'm starting to get back into textures as a way to spice them up while I wait to go cloth shopping in Ohio. I hope to get some good backdrops to hang...somewhere in my room. It just gets old seeing the same brick/concrete wall or my ugly shower curtain. I really miss the beautiful red one Shawna had...*pouts*
Anyway, the textures I used were "white xmas" and "Vintage khaki" by Pareeerica
TRF: I heard from the magazine people today. They got my cancellation and wanted to "reduce" the price to $10 a month. But I told them I can't do it...ANYTHING is too expensive for me right now. So she said she'd pay the $20 and so I'd get a year's worth of 2 free magazines. Not sure which ones I'll get but I'm proud of myself. Yay assertiveness!!
