Check out Mustang Sally On Black
Mustang Sally, think you better slow your mustang down.
Mustang Sally, think you better slow your mustang down.
You been running all over the town now.
Oh! I guess I'll have to put your flat feet on the ground.
All you want to do is ride around Sally, ride, Sally, ride.
All you want to do is ride around Sally, ride, Sally, ride.
All you want to do is ride around Sally, ride, Sally, ride.
One of these early mornings, oh, you gonna be wiping your weeping eyes.
I bought you a brand new mustang 'bout nineteen sixty five
Now you come around signifying a woman, you don't wanna let me ride.

The beautiful blue and green hues of Lake Huron fringe the shore line where these strange rock formations have been formed by the waves crashing against the limestone, eventually eroding them into these unique shapes.
At one time, there were three flowerpots which had formed on the island, but in 1903 one of them could not holdfast any longer and fell, crashing into pieces. Tours to Flowerpot Island leave from Little Tub Harbour in Tobermory, Ontario at different times throughout the day from the onset of May through to the middle of October.
A Lenda do Tanabata

I usually like being home alone, however, I love snow yet it's never as fun when you're not enjoying it with someone else.
I'm missing my Physics and English mocks today, which is extremely exciting, but I can't find the will to revise as I have tomorrow off anyway. You know how it goes, always leave stuff to the last minute.
And to top things off, my boyfriend is working so I can't go see him at the moment :( although the busses are still running, so maybe I'll pop out a bit later.
Took this on timer from a chair in my conservatory as no one was with me to help me out! It's also SOOC, although I think it would look nicer cropped. Oh well!
One last confession - when I took this I had the intention of it being in colour, but only when I got back inside and actually looked at the result did I realise that my cameras settings had been left on b&w. I think I prefer it like this though so I guess I got lucky :)

My monitor needs a calibration, so let me know)

This photo was thought in a while, but i only made it yesterday. I was about to give up because the wind was hard and i was not able to keep the candles lit and getting irritated. Then my mother helped me... mothers have the ability to know us so well, knowing exactly where and when we will fail.
The best mothers they help us before it happens. Thank you mum.

In twelve kilometer distance from Kumbakonam, there is a small village called Thiruvisainallur. Its a village with ancient temples, just like many other villages around Kumbakonam and Tanjore. You take the road that goes behind the village which runs through vast fields and you reach Karkatageswarar temple which is in the road's end. (built in Chola period, circa 13C AD). I never fail to visit this place whenever I visit Kumbakonam. It feels like you are in end of the world, so disconnected from everything else, so rich in colors, so pleasant, quiet and serence. You are accompanied by bird calls, occasional cattle movements and a temple, testimonial of eternity.
I and coolkarni spent around four hours here. (From the noon till evening, when the bad light called it a day). We spotted so many birds, few friendly villagers and two snakes too.

After every 5 Sec Faces session, i would have dinner with some friends and also share with them the pictures i took for the project. This was one incident when my friend exclaimed: "Hey, that's Jordan!" Of cos i was happy and thought it was a lovely surprise my friend knew her. However, my good friend reminded me i did hang out with Jordan over figure drawing sessions and had dinner too! Age is really catching up... So Sorry Jordan, didn't mean to forget you!

The Red Crossbill is a stocky finch of mature coniferous forests. Seed cones are its main food and it uses Its peculiar bill access the seeds. This bird will breed whenever it finds an area with an abundance of cones.
A large thanks to Hawkman2007 who called me to come see the Crossbills feeding their fledged youngsters - imagine - these hardy birds have finished raising young already and it's only April, a cold time of the year in Newfoundland

I am unwritten, can't read my mind, I'm undefined
I'm just beginning, the pen's in my hand, ending unplanned
Staring at the blank page before you
Open up the dirty window
Let the sun illuminate the words that you could not find
Reaching for something in the distance
So close you can almost taste it
Release your innovations
Feel the rain on your skin
No one else can feel it for you
Only you can let it in
No one else, no one else
Can speak the words on your lips
Drench yourself in words unspoken
Live your life with arms wide open
Today is where your book begins
The rest is still unwritten
Oh, oh, oh
I break tradition, sometimes my tries, are outside the lines
We've been conditioned to not make mistakes, but I can't live
that way
Staring at the blank page before you
Open up the dirty window
Let the sun illuminate the words that you could not find
Reaching for something in the distance
So close you can almost taste it
Release your inner visions
Feel the rain on your skin
No one else can feel it for you
Only you can let it in

Drench yourself in words unspoken

- Then answer these questions !
____
1/ Quelle est ta chanson préférée ? / What is your favorite song ?
If you were a dessert, what would you be ?
Puis tellement d'autres...
4/ T’aimes l'EPS ? / Like P.E. ?
5/ Cite trois meilleurs amis. / Name three best friends.
No matter how nice you are, there will always be haters.
If you could meet any singer/band who would rit be ?
Did you notice I skipped 7 ?
Oui je l'avais déjà lu
9/ Le sport… Tu en pratiques un ? / Sports... Play any ?
11/ Are you conceded ?
Erreur ?
12/ Tu parles d’autres langues ? / Speak any other languages ?
Je me damnerai pour manger de l'okonomiyaki right now!
14/ Quelque chose auquel tu es accro. / Something you're addicted to.
Random sentence ?
Ikitaiii...
16/ Quel âge as-tu ? / How old you be ?
J'aurai 22 ans à la mi-avril é_è
17/ As-tu une devise ? / Have a motto ?
Oooooh oui beaucoup, tellement... trop !
Is the person who tagged you epic/swagalicous/beasty/boss/insane ?
Beaucoup de personnes m'ont tagué... ^^
20/ As-tu apprécié ce tag ? / Did you enjoy this taggy ?
Ma foi oui ^^
Epitaph on a tyrant
Perfection, of a kind, was what he was after
And the poetry he invented was easy to understand;
He knew human folly like the back of his hand,
And was greatly interested in armies and fleets;
When he laughed, respectable senators burst with laughter,
And when he cried the little children died in the streets.

Bottle Cicada - Cystosoma saundersii
Tamborine National Park, Joalah Section, Southern Queensland, Australia.
This cicada made an incredibly deep, loud, almost metallic sound for about an hour after sunset - unlike any cicada I've ever heard before. When it first started I thought it was a motorbike coming. Luckily, the loud sound made it easy to find him amongst the low bushes he was hiding in and I was able to get some macro shots. I thought it must have been a pregnant female but it turns out it is most likely a male calling a mate. It made no effort to move away - and didn't look like it could have if it wanted to because of the large bloated abdomen - but did stop it's song when I got close.

This song was playing over and over in my mind the whole day I was out shooting.
I'm still in that slump.
A Song for You by Donny Hathaway
I've been so many places in my life and time
I've sung a lot of songs I've made some bad rhyme
I've acted out my love in stages
With ten thousand people watching
But we're alone now and I'm singing this song for you
I know your image of me is what I hope to be
I've treated you unkindly but darlin' can't you see
There's no one more important to me
Darlin' can't you please see through me
Cause we're alone now and I'm singing this song for you
You taught me precious secrets of the truth witholding nothing
You came out in front and I was hiding
But now I'm so much better and if my words don't come together
Listen to the melody cause my love is in there hiding
I love you in a place where there's no space or time
I love you for in my life you are a friend of mine
And when my life is over
Remember when we were together
We were alone and I was singing this song for you
You taught me precious secrets of the truth witholding nothing
You came out in front and I was hiding
But now I'm so much better and if my words don't come together
Listen to the melody cause my love is in there hiding
I love you in a place where there's no space or time
I love you for in my life you are a friend of mine
And when my life is over
Remember when we were together
We were alone and I was singing this song for you
We were alone and I was singing this song for you
Le quatrième arc-en-ciel en deux jours! - The fourth rainbow in two days! On July 1, on at least three occasions there was sunshine while it rained. I saw three rainbows, the first around 6:15pm, the second around 7:05pm and the third around 8:35pm, each time lasting several minutes. The next evening, at around 7:30pm on July 2, there was again a rainbow for about 15 minutes! This time, I went outside to get better views. Album Rainbow - Arc-en-ciel set. A rainbow will be seen differently by each person.

The Western Tiger Swallowtail is a common Swallowtail Butterfly of western North America, and is frequently seen in urban parks and gardens as well as in rural woodlands and riparian areas. It is a large, brightly colored and active butterfly, rarely seen at rest; its wingspan is 7 to 10 cm, and its wings are yellow with black stripes, and in addition it has blue and orange spots near its tail. It has the "tails" on the hind wings that are often found in swallowtails.
The eggs are deep green, shiny and spherical. They are laid singly, on the undersides of leaves. The caterpillars emerge about four days later. They are bright green, with a pair of large yellow eyespots with black and blue pupils. They can feed on the leaves of a variety of trees, and the predominant foodplant varies across their range; trees commonly used include cottonwood, willow, quaking aspen and many others. The caterpillars molt 5 times, eventually reaching a length of up to 5cm before pupating. In summer, the butterfly can emerge as little as 15 days after the caterpillar pupated, but when the caterpillar pupates in the fall, the butterfly will not emerge until the spring. The chrysalis is green in summer and dark brown in winter, and looks like a piece of wood. Butterflies emerge from winter chrysalids between February and May, the date depending on the temperature, so they are seen earlier in the more southerly and more coastal parts of their range. The adult females lay up to a hundred eggs in total. The males often congregate, along with other species of swallowtail at pools and along streams and rivers; they drink from the water and mud, extracting minerals as well as moisture.
The normal range of the Western Tiger Swallowtail covers much of western North America, from British Columbia to North Dakota in the north to Baja California and New Mexico in the south. Individuals occasionally turn up east of this range; however, in general, in eastern North America, it is replaced by the similar Eastern Tiger Swallowtail, Papilio glaucus.
Like the other tiger swallowtails, the Western Tiger Swallowtail was formally classified in genus Pterourus, but modern classifications all agree in placing them within Papilio.
