It takes a whole village to raise a child?
I have been asked many times what I've done (as a parent) to get my daughter, Llael to 'here'. I've got to say that I definitely have not done it alone!
The mentor system is wonderful for absolutely every person - and has been essential for guiding a highly psychic child like Llael. My personal feeling is that the consciousness on this planet is rising so dramatically from the past that we have a whole generation or two of parents who are in the position of raising children who are more spiritually aware than ourselves. I can't imagine that this is the norm in most worlds.
In any case, to meet that challenge I have been reminded of the african proverb and have taken it to heart. Llael's godmother has been wonderful support and deeply knowledgeable help in many times; another friend who experienced many of these extended abilities as a child herself has been a 'ready reference guide'; and former professors, have been supportive too.
I have learned to ask, not hide. To be an advocate; To follow where Spirit leads and puts people in my footpath.
..... and to READ! Many parents write and tell me that they don’t know anyone else in their community who they can share these things with. It seems really synchronistic that the internet came into its own about the same time as the profoundly aware kids! smile. Today’s mentors might come in virtual form - often as authors of all the wonderful books available.

We chose homeschooling for middle school and most of high school - which many parents now choose for a variety of reasons - - and it seems to suit the psychic child’s specialized education needs perfectly.
The Home education movement is a movement that is really giving us back our own knowledge - a sort of “permission” to know what we know, be our own expert - or to go become our own expert.
BUT, it’s not the only way, and not the best way for all children. Be prepared to educate your own school leaders about the need for a more spiritually-based education, one that is sensitive to sensitivities. Ask that the FULL RANGE of sensory perceptions be taught wherever possible.

Mora and Harding Counties, New Mexico Ranch
Location: The ranch is located between Roy and Wagon Mound, New Mexico.

Ringelai ist eine Gemeinde im niederbayerischen Landkreis Freyung-Grafenau. Der staatlich anerkannte Erholungsort wird wegen seiner klimatisch guten Gegebenheiten auch „Schmalzdobl“ und „Meran des Bayerischen Waldes“ genannt.
Die Gemeinde liegt in der Region Donau-Wald im Bayerischen Wald, exakter im tief eingeschnittenen, weiten Talboden der Wolfsteiner Ohe.
Das Tal von Ringelai wird durch Berge eingerahmt, von denen der Geistliche Stein (731 Meter) im Westen und der Frauenstein (632 Meter) im Osten die bekanntesten sind. Der Hauptort Ringelai liegt in einer Höhenlage von 410 Metern.
Die frühen Berichte erwähnen wiederholt den im Vergleich zu anderen Dörfern im Bayerischen Wald fruchtbaren Boden und großen Wohlstand des Dorfes. Hier verlief das Grenzgebiet zwischen dem Hochstift Passau und dem Kurfürstentum Bayern.

St. Stephen's Basilica Roman Catholic basilica in Budapest, Hungary. It is named in honour of Stephen, the first King of Hungary (c 975–1038), whose mummified fist is housed in the reliquary.
Equal with the Hungarian Parliament Building, it is the one of the two tallest buildings in Budapest at 96 metres (315 ft) - this equition symbolises that worldly and spiritual thinking have the same importance. According to current regulations there cannot be taller building in Budapest than 96 metres (315 ft). It has a width of 55 metres (180 ft), and length of 87.4 metres (287 ft). It was completed in 1905 after 54 years of construction. Much of this delay can be attributed to the collapse of the dome in 1868 which required complete demolition of the completed works and rebuilding from the ground up.
The architectural style is Neo-Rennaissance; it has a Greek cross groundplan. The façade is anchored by two large bell towers. In the southern tower is Hungary's biggest bell, weighing over 9 tonnes (8.9 LT; 9.9 ST) . Its predecessor had a weight of almost 8 tonnes (7.9 LT; 8.8 ST), but it was used for military purposes during World War II. Visitors may access the dome by elevators or by climbing 364 stairs for a 360° view overlooking Budapest.

Famous and impressive, both at a distance and nearby, with marvelous views over the capital of Hungary.
I was casting about for an idea, and looking at some of Gary's make-up pictures, thinking "what could I do with make-up?" and the Star Trek Voyager episode "Bride of Chaotica" popped into my head.
The episode revolves around a holodeck program called "Captain Proton" - based on those old black and white sci-fi shows, complete with the villain and his evil queen bride to be. Anyway, aliens invade the holodeck, Captain Janeway is pressed into service in the role of Arachnia, queen of the spider people - Chaotica's intended, and hijinks ensue. Anyway, short story long, I was inspired to pose as one of those sci-fi black and white TV characters, for which I used a piece of cardboard with velvet stapled to it, a bunch of make-up, and my shower stall as a back-drop.
Edited in Photoshop to adjust curves and sharpness. Applied a cloud filter, and used this lovely texture by jpdodd.

I had just gotten out of the shower..began wiping away the accumulated steam from the mirror...and I noticed a certain something about myself..almost as if I didn't recognize myself for a minute. Have you ever looked in the mirror at yourself...I mean really looked...and couldn't help but feel like you were looking at a stranger?
So that got me thinking..about me and how I think I am perceived to other people..There are many 'qualities' I possess that anyone who really knows me will certainly attest to...and it is obvious to all that know of me that I am a few things..I hold a few titles I guess you could say..I'm a mother (first, always!), I am a soon to be ex wife (woo-hoo!), a crafter of many things, I adore photography, I am a huge dog lover...etc etc...But those things about me are merely branches on my tree..They don't say who I really am..although I am not sure what else really does some times..and I find myself wondering if I even like to be in specific categories...definitely not the wife one...If I have realized that after many years of wedded bliss (hell)..that I am not cut out to be a wife..when my kids move out on their own, I will not have the daily parenting responsibilities I have now...I enjoy all types of animals and not just of the canine persuasion....so in return then do all of these things now take away from who I am? Of course not..so those things about me, those 'titles' do not define me...just small bits of my life and how I have lived it...I guess I can only hope to begin to realize more about me as a whole and not just think that I am the subcategories....and once again take a look at myself in the mirror and realize that I am in fact not such a mystery anymore....

Le troisième arc-en-ciel dans la même soirée! - The third rainbow in the same evening! On July 1, on at least three occasions there was sunshine while it rained. I saw three rainbows, the first around 6:15pm, the second around 7:05pm and the third around 8:35pm, each time lasting several minutes. The next evening, at around 7:30pm on July 2, there was again a rainbow for about 15 minutes! This time, I went outside to get better views. -- Le 1er juillet, à au moins trois occasions il a fait soleil pendant qu'il pleuvait. J'ai vu trois arcs-en-ciel, le premier vers 18:15, le deuxième vers 19:05 et le troisième vers 20:35, durant plusieurs minutes à chaque fois. Le soir suivant vers 19:30 le 2 juillet, il y a eu encore une fois un arc-en-ciel durant une quinzaine de minutes! Cette fois-ci, je suis sortie dehors afin d'avoir des meilleures vues. Tive o privilégio de fotografar esse carinha no Parque Nacional do Itatiaia, no Estado do Rio de Janeiro, o qual recomendo a todos uma visita. Ele na verdade deveria ser chamado de "Macaco Poser", de tão à vontade que ele ficou diante das câmeras (risos).
Além desse e outros simpáticos macacos, o parque possui em sua sede um museu com muitas informações sobre a fauna e flora do parque, além de exemplares empalhados dos diversos animais que vivem por lá. Há também cachoeiras maravilhosas (e geladas) há poucos minutos de caminhada.

Doppelbocks ("double bocks") were probably first brewed in the 17th century by monks in Bavaria - a stronger version of bock beers that originated in Einbeck, Germany. Doppelbocks are usually rich, malty lagers; usually dark-colored; the names often end with the suffix "-ator." Ayinger Celebrator is probably little changed from the doppelbock first brewed at Ayinger in 1878; Ayinger's doppelbock was once called "Fortunator" but this global classic is called "Celebrator" around the world now.

Internet mail, or “e-mail,” is a neat thing as it takes the postal system out of the loop and allows us to communicate with friends and/or family almost instantaneously…even those on the other side of the globe.
And while all of us enjoy a good joke or two, they tend to get old when you’ve seen them 50 times. My biggest pet peeve is when the same person forwards the same e-mail over and over again over the course of several months. I admit, my memory might be no longer than a mosquito’s butt, but come on! Even I can remember having sent certain pictures/jokes previously.
All that rambling having been said, I admit to getting a chuckle out of the Asian food store pictures. Sometimes, things are best not translated. The one above is the cleanest of all that have been sent (again) most recently.
I also like the pro gun, 2nd amendment “posters” floating around out there. On the surface, this one resonates pretty loudly and seems to scream “double standard.” But then again, isn’t it true that if so many Americans weren’t armed to the teeth, the President, regardless of his name or the color of his skin, might not need so much protection in the first place? It only takes one wacko to make trouble.
But hey…the girl is kind of cute. What gun totin’ guy wouldn’t like a girl that can probably shoot straighter than him?
