Day 89/365 - plate. A plate my sweet daughter bought for me in England when she went with her sophomore World History class ( way back in 92-93). This one is named "Dusk" and is from a series of four titled 'Romance of the Norfolk Broads'. Would love to have had all four, but I couldn't ask or expect a 15 year old to have spent that much on souvenirs for her momma. I've just always been so pleased that she thought enough of me to buy me this beautiful plate and not a London Tower pencil sharpener. :D

Day 12/365 - close up . . . so I took some liberties with today's pod subject. I expect the author of the list probably meant a close up of me, but yeah, not happening. Here is a authentic retro thermometer - approx. size is 2 inches across - color is dark aqua. It belonged to hubby's grandmother.
one giant arrow....seen while waiting in line at the car wash. used to be a satellite dish I think. why not.

Day 25/365 - something I made. I made this Friendship Journal using envelopes, chipboard, scrapbook paper and embellishments. I plan to add quotes of friendship and send it to a friend.

Oak branches reach the ground, tapping into a greater supply of green (weekly theme: "spring" | flowers & green things).
Day 93/365 - Unused appliance. My inlaws gave us this sandwich maker thinking it was easier than making grill cheese sandwiches on a stovetop griddle. I used it one time and one time only. Yes, you can put 2 sandwiches in it and just wait for the light to indicate ready, but clean- up is about 4 times longer than clean- up of my 11" square store top griddle. Truly not worth it to me.
Day 37 of 365, Love... Walking around Milton Country Park today I came across this row of paper hearts close to one of the spots I normally stopped to look out across the lake. Made we think, is it for lovers, the love of this spot, or just to put a smile on to someone face as the see the hearts blowing in the breeze...
