Welcome to Buffalo Phil's Brick City, a food, entertainment and train themed LEGO creation.
The concept centers around Buffalo Phil's log cabin restaurant located on top of a mountain. Over time word spread about the popularity of Buffalo Phil's. Soon many other businesses set up nearby and the entire area became a busting metropolis. Now there are many different restaurants, stores, and play zones, as well as two train track loops with stations. If you look closely you may even find a few celebrities enjoying life in the Brick City!
The creation is now permanently installed in Buffalo Phil's Grille restaurant in the Wisconsin Dells. If you are in the area drop by and check it out!
Back in June of 2012, my wife and I got to attend an awesome Radiohead concert in New Jersey. Afterwards, we stayed at a hotel across the river in Philly. I was still keyed up after the show, and decided to take a few night shots from our room window as I was rather shocked at how still the city was around 12:30AM. I love how this B&W version turned out in my re-visit to some old shots.
In 2014, Phil Ryerson was a mayoral candidate and was last in the poll by an astronomical number. Not to be deterred, he intends to run again next year. It is a telling indictment on political will in the city that a fringe candidate is the nearest thing to a poli who was in attendance at the planned rally against poverty on the Labour Day weekend. With him in this photograph are his sons Watson and Johnathan There was no shortage of polis to slap each other on the back earlier this week when the current mayor's ten year 50Million dollar plan to reduce poverty was approved. Absent from the vote, according to CBC, were councillors Judy Partridge and Mathew Green, the latter who represents one of the poorest wards in the city. The city of brotherly love, Philadelphia, PA. I always enjoy coming to this city for the Philly cheesesteaks, soft pretzels, hoagies, Tastykake and of course my relatives.

Ducked into an alley seeking refuge from a hard-hitting thunderstorm and on my way out, after the rain, I found a dumpster full of old windows.
A few of the windows were sitting upright in the dumpster, behind the dumpster is a Men's Clothing Shop. I framed the mannequins in the shop window, with the discarded windows in the dumpster. Frame within a frame.
Dumpster says, "Bombin Nation"...I kinda dug that too.
Enjoy!
From The Colonial Golf Tournament in Ft. Worth Texas a few years back when I was invited to the Pro-AM to play a round and got matched up with the great Phil Mickelson. Congrats to him winning the PGA Championship yesterday!
