Admittedly, I was getting bored with the square as a one-piece. Where was the risk--were we all too afraid of upsetting each other by doing something drastically different? I was hosting the meeting that month, and with five minutes before everyone was to arrive, I busted out my saw, cut, sanded, and finished with 7 new pieces, to represent each one of us.
