The Phantom was created by, homemade by and still owned by its Dutch creator.
It is powered by a Renault 1100 cc watercooled four cylinder engine which has electronic multipoint injection and the DAF variomatic transmission.
It has a front axle from a DAF 55 and a rear axle from a DAF 33. The convertible body is partially made of aluminium and fibreglass.
It has central locking doors, cruise control, auxiliary airsuspension on the rear axle, electrically operated heated mirrors, etc.

Phantom Ship is another rock island on Crater Lake. Though it resembles a small pirate ship, the island is as tall as a 16 story building. The calm waters of the lake offer some interesting reflections...

Dope Phantom in matte black sitting on massive rims. Actually looks rather good, surprisingly. What do you think of the shot/editing? The original photo was rather dull so hopefully the editing brought it to life. Leave your thoughts below! - Point Piper, Sydney
The Phantom is a bold new concept solidly based on traditional engineering and fine old world craftsmanship. Phantoms will be built in low volume on a custom basis only.
US Navy, McDonnell Douglas F-4 Phantom jet airplane. Now resting in the American aircraft display at the IWM Duxford, England. But it still looks like it's ready to go!
1/2016 - One of the first few SD70ACU rebuilds is seen behind the test shed at the Juniata Shops. Soon they'll run it up and down the test track to work out any bugs then take it to the paint shop if everything checks out.

Not having any real subject matter in mind, I decided to take my Quadcopter up to 400 feet over Naperville for a little look-see. It's amazing to see just how many trees there are around here. It should make for an interesting Autumn look.
Took the Phantom out for some practice at the beach yesterday. Lots of other photographers out there, and everyone took an interest in this thing. It's certainly not the least conspicuous way of getting a shot, but oh my the shots you can get...

And it goes on and on and on and on! Some Work In Progress updates (and a vid showing the flashing lights!). I sorta almost feel like I'm starting to get somewhere with this now, but still a very long way to go.
So I've gone with an F4-B of VF - 161 "Chargers" from the USS Midway.
We got the electrics done last weekend, so a big thankyou to Richard FP once again :) The plan was to have all the body lights flashing with the wings tips constantly lit, but I'm 50/50 if the wings are going to be too much of a headache for the connection into the fuselage.
Whilst building this, I figured the pannels that I kept removing to attach / detach the wings may as well be made a bit of a feature, so some interior pipings gone in there (not for the faint hearted if your a purist!). The removable section of fuselage above the battery will also have this detail inside.
The rear section that now features brushed aluminium stickers was all built in dark grey and I really wanted it shiny! So, slightly thiner strips of aluminium vinyl have been applied (thus giving the join lines of the 1x2 curves) and a few other bits have been either chromed or sprayed metalic for the look I wanted....I know, I know, not purist, hey ho ;)
Yes, its a Phantom!.. Yes, its real!..
USAF F4 Phantom on outdoor display in Pasadena, TX! Driving past, I had to stop and get the Mavic Air out for a quick second to snap this photo!
