Success! Patience, persistence, and most likely hunger finally brought breakfast! It was fun to watch this guy 'fish' and believe me, he had a couple of misses, as well - I had a couple as the photographer, too, but I was patient, persistent and hungry for a shot! Not the best shot as he was on the move to get it down his throat, but glad to get what I did! 5th Ave N & Gulf of Mexico, Naples, FL

WIND AND WATER
Just as one success is not a full guarantee of another so one failure is not a full guarantee of another. Things are changing all the time and we are learning all the time, so doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result is not as foolish as you might think, especially as just the act of doing changes things.
Hammering against a wall; pleading with a reluctant; practising a skill; pushing against an injustice; seeking an answer; persuading the unpersuaded or teaching the untaught can seem like a waste of time and effort but sometimes consistency, persistence and repetition gets the job done; the answer revealed; the injustice condemned; the wall toppled; the skills and lessons learned; the problem solved as the wind and water wear away the rock.
So if you're hammering away at something hard and you feel a bit foolish, take heart, for not all success or wisdom comes easily and not all walls fall by wishing.
With just a few months to go before the start of the National Arena League the Carolina Cobra's have been holding open tryouts looking to bolster their team by looking for quality players. The Carolina Cobras are starting their Fourth season in 2021 and were the 2018 National Arena League Champions. The Cobras play their home games at the Greensboro Coliseum. LockedIN Magazine photographer Rick "Beetle" Bailey of #bbphotographer58 and #My4one2 was at the latest tryout and may have spotted the next player to join the "Snake Pit".
