It’s a piece about being Money’s lover and giving everything up for fame. Inspired by many famous people Marilyn Monroe and what we give up in order to get what we desire in life. It follows the mental demise of the nameless character who becomes Money’s lover, then his prostitute, then due to his help famous, her mental collapse at the cost of this, then she gives it all up to be herself…

Root & Branch invite you to a very different sort of wedding. One at which no one really gets on – even the bride & groom – and where the furniture is collapsing at the same time as the social niceties. Will the father-of-the-bride ever shut up? Will the groom’s friend stop making dodgy jokes? And just what is the sister up to in the kitchen with the handsome young man?
In a vibrant translation by comedian Rory Bremner, A Respectable Wedding will make you laugh out loud & cringe with embarrassment. Just like your average wedding.....

Futorian Dance Theatre, "Suite of 3"
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the annual outdoor Battery Dance Festival went virtual this year, like so many other performances.
So there was no live festival and most of the international dance companies that participated did so via video.
But NYC let the Festival film a handful of the performers live, albeit in the very early morning, as a way to discourage curious onlookers. These are some of the companies that participated; but this necessarily is a very small sampling.
