We went for mushroom. The day was foggy and I was able to capture some amazing wood scenes. Comments welcomed

Domburg - Zeeland - The Netherlands

I took this photo at the Kinderdijk. I like sunrises on the horizon and in the post-processing I created one that match my visual taste. I saturated the colours and added a glow effect to make the moment more dreamy. The picture is a combination of reality and my imagination. Comments welcomed.

Austria - Tannheim valley

Having been to this large facility mulitple times, I was heartened to find a door open to the previously inaccessible second half. And very happy to find this nifty boiler room.

BTW, this is absolutely one of my favorite post-process photos, as due to huge blown-out glare on the right side, the first version was garbage, and might have only been useful with the windows cropped-out. However, I figured out a way to completely eliminate the glare, and still retain details in the door and above wall.

This windmill combines 2 Dutch landmarks, the mills and the tulips. I see it everyday from the train when I go to work. This is the right period of the year when tulips are blossom and you can have in one shot both. The windmill is a polder molen built in 1654.

It was unfortunately already late and I did not manage to get the full tulip field on focus due to a light breeze., However the shot is quite out of the camera. I played with colours, burn and dodge and shadows. No strong post-processing. It is a blend of sky and foreground. The GPS info are accurate if you want to know where it is. Comments Welcomed

The old Grass Valley Methodist Church is reportedly one of the most photographed abandoned churches in Oregon. The church probably was constructed before 1900 but the exact year of construction is not known. Formal services have not been held in the building since the 1940's but people have gotten married here in recent years.

This winter we went to skiing in Val Pusteria, Dolomites. On the way there we stopped to this amazing Bavarian castle, Neuschwanstein. I had no time for any scouting, therefore I took the picture from the panoramic bridge. Weather was bad, though despite a poor light I capture a decent shot, thanks to the Sony sensor too. I played with sharpening, dodge, colours and I reworked the sky a bit. Comments welcomed.

Supposedly, President McKinley was shot under this dome when it was part of the construction of the Temple of Music in Buffalo, NY. Though the temple was demolished shortly after the assassination, allegedly, this dome was brought to this sanitarium as a signature ornament over the dining hall.

The above is rather inconclusive and I'm not sure I buy it, but it makes for a cool story.

I've been experiencing difficulties with LR6 since it upgraded the other day so I opted to work on the jpeg instead of the RAW file, in ON1 Perfect Photo Suite, this time.

The photo was taken along the roadside when returning to the farm.

Fiddle Creek, Jasper National Park, Alberta, Canada

This was produced using a trial of OnOne Perfect Effects 8, using the "Antique" filter to de-saturate the color.

Aus einer Belichtungsreihe in Lightroom ein HDR erstellt und anschliessend etwas Feintuning in Photoshop und On1.

Reverse angle of an earlier shot of this cool boiler room.

Much like the old Hooven and Allison, a troika of sisters sit in this old powerhouse.

Here are some teeny tiny versions of the G1 Decepticons, Rumble and Frenzy. Produced by PerfectEffect as PE-01R and PE-01F, they are great homages to the old G1 troublemakers. Pictured in robot modes.

As you can see, they have mountable piledriver extensions, pistols, and backpack weapons.

And yes, I'm in the FIBRIR camp.
