In the garden snapping in the snow, I thought to myself, how many simple but very striking images I see on here on Flickr, just everyday objects, so here is my attempt at one of those, simple, everyday objects we normally encounter in our daily life. Just a snap.
i realized after taking this that they needed the crotch* taken in, too, so they fit better now. not so low.
*i'm sure there's a classy tailoring word for that, but i don't know it.
In the distance is Loughborough's Carillon Tower & War Memorial was built after WW1 to commemorate the men of the town who gave their lives. Unique in Britain, it is the only purpose built carillon tower.
Carillion is defined as "a set of stationary bells hung in a tower and sounded by manual or pedal action, or by machinery."
Here are the stands that can be attatched to the loom. They pervent it from tipping over, and can also be used to clamp it to a table.
It's all gone! No peg box or pegs, no sidings and no depot. Also gone is the David & Charles publisher's coaching stock and a hugely simplified track lay out with the loss of platforms. I came here to do this view again and sorry I did now :-(
