A rather pretty old structure with nice fall light and colors on the weathered clapboards. This is in Northfield, NH across the street from the man's who delivers the fresh eggs by horse and buggy each day :>)
September 1st is "Random Acts of Kindness" day and whilst my students didn't think it was as cool as "Talk like a Pirate " day I tried to get them to think about their actions and the effect they have on others.
I also explained that sometimes it is nice to do something kind to someone else, for the only reward being that you made someone else feel good. Hopefully they will remember this sometimes in their lives and will "pay it forward" and make the world a better place to be!!!

Pay It Forward is a charity event organised by the Singapore Seventh-Day Adventist Church that helps low income families in the area by giving them a goodie bag filled with non-perishable goods like rice, canned foods and cooking oils as well as giving them household appliances of their choice. The annual event also provides haircuts, health checkups and massages from professional masseurs.
I helped in the transport section and provided my help to do photo-coverage of the event.
Mexican Fleabane, (Erigeron karvinskianus) growing in abundance in Guernsey granite walls. Looking at their best now, but will flower all summer. Exceptionally drought-tolerant and hardy little fellows.
