I played in the artbox and came up with this. Believe it or not I didn't add any to the colour they were really this bright.

2014 Karsyn Bell Festival in Bristol, Indiana
The rain held off, but the day was humid on Saturday, August 23, 2014, when the 4th Annual event to honor 4-year-old Karsyn Bell, a Bristol resident who died of brain cancer in 2009. The event was held from 10am to 4pm in Congdon Park, Karsyn’s favoarite park, where donations built a Pirate playground in her memory. Admission was a nonperishable food donation for the Bristol Food Pantry. Since 2010, donations and/or goods have been made to over 20 local nonprofit organizations from the proceeds of the festival. The festival is sponsored by Santa’s Pantry, who make it Christmas every day by Paying It Forward. A number of children’s activities included games, train rides, and other fun events.. Many craft vendors offered their wares and donated toward the cause. St. Mary’s Church held a bake sale. The Bristol Homecoming Teen Queen was held hostage by a group of Pirates on a Pirate Ship, waiting to be rescued by a balloon toss. Many events took place through the day on the stage of the Pavilion, and food and fun were available for all.

There was this huge pile of logs next to the road in SC where I stopped to get my bearings on all the route changes I was given to drive from Myrtle Beach to Waxhaw, NC where my parents live. They were being turned into wooden pallets but that didn't fit in the photo. I had to lighten the pile up on PS since it was all back lit naturally.

Turns out that the opossum was struck by a car in traffic. He/she may its way to the curb and got up on the sidewalk. It was then that a lady with a very kind heart put her rain cape over the oppossum who looked seriously injured. She constantly spoke to it and prayed.
This was my first attempt at photographing a bee. Since I don't have a macro lens I did the next best thing by using closeup filters (a combination of +4 and +2). I was pretty happy with the sharpness and detail (best viewed large to appreciate this) considering I had no true macro lens. What do you think?
