If fate allows, I will be with Sacha starting Thursday for ten whole days.
I have made a patchwork puppy for him, following the pattern of a great artist, Lisa Pay.
Who knows, maybe his parents will adopt a puppy too, they already adopted a little cat, and of course, Sacha named her Abba.
See you all in February, until then, I wish you good.

And no worries, there will be LOADS of closeups!
This cute cottage from unKindness can be found currently at C88
It's too cute and is bigger then it seems on the inside 😍
Aren't they lovely? It was a bit tricky making this shot as i wanted to use natural light and the cats bolted for the door as soon as i opened it for the sunlight to come in. They are my cousin Grace's cats and they are not used to my place yet.
I wanted to capture the relection but the photo would have been a dull one without the cats. After a bit of coaxing I managed to place Snowbelle on the right while Yuki walks in on the left to check out what i was doing. Her inquisitive look was a bonus.
The Cheltenham Badlands were formed through natural erosion. The red colouring of the shale is iron oxide. Quite a beautiful colour =) It was indeed surprising to find this in Ontario.
One of the best coasts in the world, to the south cliffs to the west sand and rocky shorelines something for everyone
Nature offers us some wonderful moments - and I was fortunate enough to have my camera with me for this one....
The frog prince of our garden atop a canna leaf.
One doesn't have to travel far to see some incredible displays of nature's beauty and majesty...
I personally think this is better when viewed at the larger sizes - so you can get a real sense of what the world looks like to this small barking tree frog.

I was very unsure if I should share this, and asked my friend Gwyn to give me some great feedback. I decided in the end to open myself up a bit.
My Super power is giving. I am a giver, I would give my friends, and my family the shirt off my back. I give of my free time to helping others who are in need, especially the food bank locally.
I want everyone I come into contact with to know how important and valuable they are to me.
This image I picked because I am a huge Food Bank advocate, I give my time freely as a volunteer, and I believe in todays times no one should ever worry about food, or go to bed hungry. It is my hope that we resolve this very huge issue in our world sooner rather than later.
If my connections, and my time can aid in that fight, it is worth every second, of every moment that I spend helping a team battle this issue in my city.

More fun with the frog prince of our garden. I find that the shallow depth of field when using a fixed macro lens works well if you can focus on the eyes....which is often the most telling detail in a macro image.
This was taken with a Sigma 105mm macro lens coupled with a Nikon D70.
It oftens pays for me to get up early and catch the morning sun illuminating the beauty within our garden.

Questo balcone sembra indifferente allo scorrere del tempo..sembra il balcone da cui Eduardo discettava amabilmente sui modi di fare il caffè, quasi quasi ne sento anche l'aroma....

As with all high dynamic range imaging, this is much better if viewed at the larger sizes....

This particular fellow has lost one of his antennae and thus the unicorn moniker struck in my mind when I viewed this on the screen.
