Patrick has been skating since 2013. He likes to do parkour and skating was a good way to get from spot to spot. Not long after starting to skate, he met Gary at the Broadway Mini Bomb. They spoke and skated a bit together and things went downhill after that.
The board featured here is a Nelson Stingray DH, which features some solid concave and small wheel flares that help lock your feet in. The board allows him to get on top of my front truck for max control. He used 145mm Stim Trucks and Orangatang InHeats.
For freeride and cruise, he uses a Strike board. This double board is just small enough to be a great tech board, but long enough to hold out long standies freeriding. He uses 183mm Stim Trucks and swaps out between a few different slide wheels.

Patrick from Spongebob Squarepants... is it just me or does he have a hairy stomach?
I shot it with Polaroid 87 film, a flash, 3 stacked diopters (to get close) and 4 layers or paper towel over the flash to get the right exposure.
This morning was a great day to shoot some lovely portraits of Patrick and Jackie.
The couple are from Pittsburgh and they spent a couple of days here in Seattle for their honeymoon while waiting to go on a week cruise to Alaska.
They are such a sweet couple. :)
