“When photographing women, we have three paths: photograph them with the "male gaze” ; photograph them as "photographer eyes” and photograph them as "poet feeling”. I always try to be the three ...” by Old Roger
Winding through the towering Coast Redwoods, a serene path awaits in Prairie Creek Redwoods State Park, nestled in Northern California.
There are moments when nature decides to apply a special filter to reality. In this shot taken in Fuerteventura, the rainbow seems to trace an invisible path for those who experience the sea with slowness and wonder
Lovely encounter on a walk last weekend. The weather wasn't as nice as I had hoped and it was almost too dark for photos but luckily the squirrel sat on the path where the light was slightly better than under the trees of the forest.
Well groomed trail southern Catskills NY. When you live like me surrounded by urban concrete blight on my few days off when I do not have a days worth of catch up errands and the weather is actually decent even a simple woodland path can be a wonderful pleasure.

Built around many trees and plants this path named La Vallee within Parc de Bercy is simply breathtaking.

Decided to take a little road trip down to Sawley the other night to see what it had to offer - I've typically only photographed Sunrises & Sunsets there. It certainly didn't disappoint and gave me a great chance to road test the arrival of the correct wide angle lens for my new camera. I'm amazed at the detail this little Sony full frame and 16-35mm can capture - mirrorless is the future!

This is a nice slippery path alongside the East Lyn river. The leaves in this section are a lovely rich colour but the path stops at the old stone wall, what this might have been at one time I cannot find out .
Shot at ISO 50 and with Lee Polariser which slows down the exposure nicely for some nice smooth water, a pain with the wide angle at 16mm as the polariser does introduce some vignetting in the corners which I have to pull out anyway to keep my verticals upright .
