We shovel a path from the back deck to the front of the house, with a side spur to the propane tank and compost pile.
Walking through the Godolphin House gardens I took a detour off into a wooded area, and came upon this narrow almost secret path. It turned out to be a ‘Bare Foot Path’ a path constructed of many textures to stimulate the soles of bare foot walkers, this was just part of that path.
THE PATH THAT LEADS NOWHERE
THERE'S a path that leads to Nowhere
In a meadow that I know,
Where an inland island rises
And the stream is still and slow;
There it wanders under willows,
And beneath the silver green
Of the birches' silent shadows
Where the early violets lean.
Other pathways lead to Somewhere,
But the one I love so well
Has no end and no beginning—
Just the beauty of the dell,
Just the wind-flowers and the lilies
Yellow-striped as adder's tongue,
Seem to satisfy my pathway
As it winds their scents among.
There I go to meet the Springtime,
When the meadow is aglow,
Marigolds amid the marshes,—
And the stream is still and slow.
There I find my fair oasis,
And with care-free feet I tread
For the pathway leads to Nowhere,
And the blue is overhead!
All the ways that lead to Somewhere
Echo with the hurrying feet
Of the Struggling and the Striving,
But the way I find so sweet
Bids me dream and bids me linger,
Joy and Beauty are its goal,—
On the path that leads to Nowhere
I have sometimes found my soul!

I cycled parts of the Industrial Cycle Path in Winterthur, Switzerland. Although a lot of direction signs showing the way I lost one's way several times...
Very colourful underpass at the railway station of Oberwinterthur.
Path in the Aarhus memorial park, founded in recognition of the Danish World War 1 veterans. Every year on September 11th 1100 hours, there is a commemoration ceremony. I have always wanted to go!

While we are traveling for a tour,
we know the destination will be amazing.
But, I like to stop often and capture the photos,
photos of nature’s beauty,
photos of different paths,
talk to the strangers,
play with street animals,
capture the different faces.
Sometime I feel,
Its Okay , if I am late to the destination
Or
It’s Okay if I don’t reach the destination
at the expected time.
I just want to travel for living
those moments on the journey.
I want to travel more for the journey
than the destination
And that’s how our life is!
