The body of this Panther tank was recovered from a swamp in Poland, but the turret was completely destroyed. They've cast a new turret from scratch, and the cost of restoring this Pather had already reached $1.5M.
Here's a wider look at the path mown through the fields. There were about five miles of these trails winding around each other, and I pretty much had them all to myself. I only had to share it with the birds.
This is the path leading to the Prysten House in Plymouth. This house is the second oldest house in Plymouth and was built in 1498. Now the bottom floor is occupied by the Tanner brothers who run their restaurant from this location.
Nestled by the sea, this hilly capitol on the southern tip of the North Island is a walker's paradise. We rode a cable car up to the Wellington Botanic Garden, then strolled down an inviting series of garden paths through a lovely old cemetery until we reached the city centre. After a cafe' dinner we explored the waterfront and watched Wellington come to life at night. Magical!

Due to the lack of space a 'Copenhagen approach' is used. Basicaly just before the intersection the bike path becomes a bike lane. There's no protective island on the corner of the intersection and no waiting area for pedestrians between the bike path and the road for cars.
