The path to Storr and The Old Man of Storr on The Isle of Skye, Scotland.

The last sun rays shine on the path meandering throug a lush garden. A perfect place for quietude and relaxation.
Say 3 of the Inca Trail, ending up at Winay Wayna. The paths are really clear, and we couldnt belive they were so old, but still in such good condition.

I haven't been very active on Flickr lately, but I'm hoping to get back to adding photos regularly, again.
Where does the path go? It looks as though it just disintegrates into all those leaves!
I suppose the lighting could have been a bit better here. Despite the leaves on the ground it still doesn't look very autumnal!

A couple of compositions on this mornings walk. Hazy sun and overcast i would have prefered a blue sky :-)
Kirkby Stephens' Poetry Path – The poems have been carved into a series of stones and incorporated into walls and stiles, or planted like milestones along the route of the path. Through the stones walkers can trace the course of a farmer’s year simply by following the route, which loops from Stenkrith near Kirkby Stephen to Hartley and back.
