A path descends through a wood.
Note - despite how it looks, no saturation has been added to this shot, just brightness and contrast changes. You have to love those new-growth Spring colours!
I took this photo on a late afternoon stroll. The location was a park adjacent to the famous Crescent Hotel in Eureka Springs, AR. That town is still one of my favorite places for a day trip, a walk, and taking some photos.

Winter Snow Path
This is a hiking path in Mendon Ponds Park. There were many cross country skiiers taking advantage of the parks many paths.
This park has over 2500 acres of land.
Only in this place I saw so large carpet of anemones. They are blooming there every year :)

I get to this area and not sure if the path went to the right but soon discovered it was over these rocks.

At Winterthur. The viburnum was blooming all along the path and the fragrance was heavenly. There was also a cat bird up in the trees serenading us as we walked along. Winterthur has some champion trees. The DuPonts were very concerned with preserving the old growth trees both here and at Longwood. Many of them are breathtakingly tall and wonderful!
