This is the shot where I discovered she was a mother. She is mostly red but has several strips and patches of normal brown colored fur. Her tail is all red. I have never seen a fox squirrel of this color.

Sometimes, you have to stop and stare.
This patch of Black-eyed Susans stood out against the greens of the prairie grasses as I was talking my walk at Lincoln Memorial Garden.
As if the painter had dripped some yellow onto a canvas of green.
It caught my eye and wouldn't let me go until I stopped, took it in and grabbed this one frame.
From one stranger to another as we passed on our own individual journeys, we tipped our caps, gave a nod and strode on, the flowers to writhe on the breeze, me with one foot in front of the other.
My Eagle patch with our old Troop 752 patch. I think I was one of the last in the troop to get the patch...it was given to us when we reached 1st class.
This is ridiculous, ther's hardly a square meter of tarmac in Sofia without holes or patches! Honestly is it really that hard to build a normal road?

You may have seen the "Secret Squirrel" patch around. There's even one clearly visible in the movie Zero Dark Thirty. You can get them, in many colors and materials from Milspec Monkey.
But I designed them. And for a few years, bought hundreds at a time, took orders from locals and obscure military/government/police forums (the US Secret Service were particular fans) and mailed them out. Eventualy, I got tired of this, so gave it to Money Boy to deal with instead.
These photos are not mine, but of people who bought them back in the day. There is no PERSEC violation as far as I can tell plus they are all pretty old.
