A group of girls from North Liverpool Academy (NLA) created the patches above. They spent a long time discussing, planning, designing and making their patches with the help of their supportive teacher. They were concerned about a number of issues that they would like to change about the world they live in:
•animal cruelty
•racism
•loss of community
They would love to see people have a deeper:
•desire for peace
•love and concern for each other

After running over a nail, I tried patching my innertube, but the patch wouldn't hold. I tried patching the patch, but it blew too. So finally I just replaced the whole damn tube.

First attempt at shooting color with the Holga.
It came out about like I was hoping it would. I think it is really much easier to make something "dirty" out of a Holga-made image than with digital or better film cameras.
Also, this is the first roll of Provia I shot. I think I need to try out some closer portraits with it.

Some people just can't let go...
Btw: this isn't mine. I still managed to stay clear of i-pods, i-phones or i-pads. But I must admit that sometimes I feel some regret...for instance when my beautiful Sony Ericsson cannot do what an I-phone will do like watching Television, downloading certain aps etc.
Today I read an article about the I-pad which made it very appealing, again. But I will resist this pressure! I will not bow for this Monoplist! This Twin Brother of the all powerfull Windows Techno-Communication-Software-Complex! I won't go over to The Dark Side! *panting, sweating, in desperate need of relaxation*
A fall color pic for the last day of fall
Aspen patches with a few intermixed evergreens contrast with an otherwise barren looking landscape in the high foothills near Virginia Lakes and Conway Summit just north of Mono Lake.

Hi ya! My name is Patches! I am a young, energetic, happy-go-lucky dog in need of a forever home. I love to play with toys. I will romp and run, tossing them around in the air, tail always wagging with a big, heartwarming grin on my face. I get along well with other dogs, especially those who will play with me. I also have a sweet, friendly, loving personality. I enjoy being petted and told I'm a good boy. I have been around cats and I pretty much ignore them. I am a good dog who is looking for a home where people have the time and energy to spend with me, play with me and shower me with love and kisses. Could that be you? Apply today! Adoption fee: $75. Adopt a pair: $115. Fee includes testing, deworming, vaccinations, spay/neuter, 60 days of free pet insurance, one session with a certified behavior trainer and microchip. Jervis Bay, Booderee National Park. Olympus 35SP, Ilford Delta 400, Epson V550. This is an accidental panorama. For some reason the scanner cut the top half off the frame. But I think this looks great.
Ironically, the once popular toy have been grinded and pulverised into artificial fertiliser that is sold to third world country for its farmers be fertilise their cabbage patch.
