Heart box, daisys, and pink hearts all made out of fondant and/or gum paste. This was my final cake for the Wilton class "Fondant and Gumpaste".
Okay, this was just for fun---I made a gum paste peony today and put it in a hydrangea bush for the picture- :o)
Bethany and Heather are working on a wedding cake that is going to have a ton of gum paste flowers on it. It's one of the last couple cakes they will be doing together. All the flowers you see here aren't even half of it.

The concept was to create an elbow to fingertip henna design but instead of the standard hindi, to create patterns taken from Egyptian art.
I used Riffat's lovely premixed henna paste: www.riffat.co.uk
The henna paste was left on less than 30 minutes using Henna Caravan Premixed paste.
The mix used for this pattern had been mixed up and used then refrozen, defrosted and used again! (it was past it's peak and still gave deep color quickly)
