Climbing on the R37 to 2100m over the Long Tom Pass.

The pass is part of the Mpumalanga Panorama Route.

The pass was named after the Long Tom guns used by the Boer in the second Boer War against the British.

I created this photo in loving memory of my amazing Gran - Vera. She was my constant and will be greatly missed, not only due to having to buy less red wine to fuel her slight addiction, but our lovely lunches, being hit with her handbag when I was cheeky and all her stories.

I don't know what happens when you pass on, I hope that where ever you are, you're happy and reunited with Granddad again.

All my love,

Rach

On the road between Keswick and Buttermere. The area of blue sky was the only that we saw that day. Above and behind was all grey.

This was a view on the way to Buckskin Pass (although I forget the name of the pass captured in this image). It was by accident I had taken this trail one morning, and it was a very tough climb. When I saw this view, I knew I had to return in an afternoon to capture it with the right light. This was my favorite day of the trip and this was my favorite location. was thrilled to make it up here right after a snow storm.

The only hikers I came across were the one's going up to the pass, and they were few and far between. I really enjoyed the solitude. I hiked a little further from this point, but I hope I return sometime to make it even further. This whole hike was a beautiful experience.

Not a photoshop job! This is a maneuver where the two planes fly a pass next to each other. As they approach show center, the near one inverts and they continue (as my friend Marc says, at the speed of heat). When I saw them start this, I panned as well as I could and snapped at full framerate. This is the result. I wanted to catch them as a direct mirror image, but (as you can tell) the near plane was flying slightly behind. Still, I'm very excited about the way it came out!

The Llanberis Pass lies between the mountain massifs of Snowdon and the Glyderau in the county of Gwynedd, in northwestern Wales. The summit of the pass is 1,178 ft above sea level. The Path up Snowdon has to be the most popular and easiest hiking route to the summit of Wales' highest mountain. In normal weather, it poses no problems for the fit walker, with even the navigation being reasonably easy.

Mural "Pass your orange" by British artist Peachzz at Av. du Champ de Bataille 138 in Mons, Belgium.

For the Festival, Peachzz has transfigured a moment familiar to everyone in Jemappes - the Cavalcade and the Gilles. His colourful and joyful approach brings a luminosity to this wall that radiates throughout the neighbourhood.
