A ti, maravillosa disciplina,

dodecaedro azul, arco sonoro.

After napping in a completely dark room for an hour or so and a cold shower, I headed back to my next ticketed attraction, Parc Guell. This is a large meandering park with features designed by Antonio Gaudi, the great Spanish architect who also designed Sagrada Familia. It was supposed to be a housing development, but it never took off, and Guell, the developer, eventually gave it all to the city of Barcelona.

It was in the mid-90s this day, I had already had a strenuous experience at Sagrada Familia, so you can imagine my dismay when I turned the corner and saw that I would have to ascend a mountain to get to this park.

But as you can see from a few of these pictures, the place is full of unusual details! I think I would have appreciated it more if it hadn't been so very very hot.

Some of these are really off colorwise, the light on the day and the white sky doesn't even begin to make them justice. But some had to be shown anyway.
