I gave it a car... as an homage to Stellar Recon Voyager, but using a design from Futuron Stardefender 200.
First roll of film through the new-to-me Franka Rolfix Jr. I'm pretty pleased. I need to improve my "guess focus" technique and use the damned scanner a little more often.
(note to self: not only is the viewfinder dinky, it is also uncorrected for parallax.)

The Scribbler 2 Robot Badge Kit introduces soldering and DIY assembly to young people and adults who are new to electronics. After completion of this easy to assemble kit, you will have a miniature replica of Parallax’s Scribbler 2 Robot (S2).
This a great DIY Kit if you're just learning how to solder, and are new to electronic assembly techniques. However, even if you're a seasoned "DIY Veteran", this kit is fun to make.
After you've completed assembly, simply push the button to switch through all 7 LED colors!
The S2 Badge comes complete with PCB, all PCB mounted components, as well as a lanyard and battery.
Key Features:
Complete DIY kit with all necessary components - just provide your own soldering iron and solder to assemble
Battery is easily replaced for long life of the badge
Only a few components to solder, which is a great way to learn
"Smart" LED simplifies assembly with it's integrated controller

This installation involves two primary components: mirrors on yolks and a varied fragmented reflective object. By aiming one or many of the mirrors at the fragmented object, viewers activate the sculpture with sunlight, causing moving reflections to appear in the shaded area around the fragmented object.
The parallax of this installation revolves around the duality of individuals giving and receiving. By aiming one of the Minute of Parallax mirrors, activating the installation with sunlight, one is gifting viewers near the fragmented object with light. This universal gift is fleeting though, due to the rotation of the earth. After roughly a minute, the mirrors would no longer be in tune with the fragmented object, and require readjusting to continue streaming sunlight at the shaded area. The elements of nature are amplified and accentuated, challenging the viewer to connect with one another through light and wind, as well as the visualization and beauty of nature that is often overlooked in an urban setting.

Details and History
The Library of Congress website offers a multitude of historical images, many with no known restrictions on use. This portrait of Medori was constructed from two separate images. This seems an example of accidental parallax arising from redundant exposures with unintentional camera movement between. Slow photography of the time necessitated staging a pose and holding it for several seconds or minutes to avoid blurring. The photographer is likely Mathew B. Brady or his apprentice Levin C. Handy.

since we've been getting back into the running game, we've been making frequent trips to a local "trail" that's a paved over railroad track. the upside is that it's flat, straight and lacking hills. the downside is that it's flat, straight and lacking hills.
Something I came across while reading. And deciding to try it out on a single image.
