An image from back a few weeks when there was a lot of pollen and seeds floating on the water. This reminds me of those gorgeous marbled end papers on some (old) books, at least the well made ones.
This Staples was built in 1999 and closed in March 2018.

Had to make a 44 mile round trip to deliver some exam papers and collect some more this morning. By the time I got back, the snow had pretty much gone, leaving only decaying mush.

I got the idea for this on the day Lain sent us hunting for our oldest stuff. Discovered all sorts of papers I'd bought and never used. Most of them I remember needing desperately, then not having any idea how to use them effectively. Every time I try to purge I get all nostalgic and tell myself that surely there is a way to use that special paper. Pretty sure it's a sickness.

That was 5 years ago now but when the picture was taken, it appeared that the switcher had been on sight for only a few weeks. The old Alco they had was sitting down on the interchange track, ready to be set out to pasture.
I spend a lot of office time with paper ... reading students assignments or working on my own writing projects. I have a strong affection for the written word ... and my office is proof of that!
here is a sample of what has been keeping me away from my camera and away from flickr. glenwood and i have been busy starting a business. we offer wedding invitation sets that combine laser engraved wood veneer with letterpress printed papers. however, we will gladly cater to any special event needs. i will be posting occasional photos of our designs and my design inspirations.
