Leica M6 'Wetzlar'

50mm Summicron ver. IV

Kodacolor 100 (baked, expired March 2006)

This picture is made up of an arrangement of blue, yellow, and orange coloured papers. I stacked them up on each other in a certain pattern to obtain this image.

And btw, this is the first picture i have taking using a RAW format.. thats how new i am

Unusuall photo from the magazine "Viva". Just had to say something...The polish presidentail couple who were ridiculed in the the mainstream papers before the tragedy got all this special coverage after the tragedy. Where were these lovely photos when they were still alive ????

I loved this one with their dogs Tytus and Lula (?). President found Lula at the gasoline station and took her home with him.

I am back to London after spending a month with my mum in Poland. I was there when the tragedy struck. Still, I got a huge cold and could not travell to Warsaw to take photos - regret it now. Should have risked it to be there, to pay my last respects.

It all seems so unfare.

There are so many anaswered questions...

I am still in pain and I am worried abot my country as there is no proper investigation about the cause of this tragedy!

During what was thought to be GIO Rail's final run to St. Catharines on the Grantham Spur, a couple of friends and I ventured a little over a hundred kilometres to go see it. We unfortunately missed the train's arrival on the spur as it got there about an hour earlier than expected, and by the time we showed up it was already down to the last customer before making its way back south. A slight hiccup to be sure, but nothing too serious. The boxcars now had to be loaded/unloaded by employees of the industry, Dunn Paper, before the train could continue. The process took at least another three hours after this photo was taken, but chatting with the other photographers who arrived from all over made the wait significantly more bearable. It was the silver lining of an otherwise depressing event - what very well could be the final train to run over the right-of-way of a long-dead interurban. The "chase" ended up only lasting for about 500 metres when it was found the locomotive was leaking oil, prompting the crew to tie it down for the night later that afternoon. It was certainly a disappointing conclusion for us, but still a solid introduction to a shortline railroad I'd never shot before. The remainder of this train's final run was conducted the following day.

A brief ray of sunlight shines on TRRY 1859 at Dunn Paper while a lake-effect snow squall darkens the sky behind it.

I cleaned out some drawers and these are papers that can be discarded, I think I'll use them as scratch papers.
