This is the Resources Building in downtown Sacramento. This lean was inspired by the works of a few on Flickr that know how to make something out of something by finding urban patterns and framing at unusual deliberate angles. 0313

This vibrant panel from c1960 came originally from the Carmelite Convent at Yardley and is now resited in the side chapel at Wootton Wawen's RC church. The distinctive style appears to suggest this is the work of renowned Irish Expressionist artist Evie Hone.
The Roman Catholic chuch of Our Lady & St Benedict in Wootton Wawen dates from 1904 and has been since embellished with various fittings and glass from redundant churches elsewhere (including the former chapel of nearby Wootton Hall, which preceeded this building as the local centre for Catholic worship).
The church is orientated the opposite way to the normal layout, with entrance at the east and altar to the west. The most striking features within are the large reredos and the late Georgian Annunciation window, which copies the 18th century reredos of the Beauchaump Chapel in Warwick.
Thanks go to Fr Patrick Sayles who kindly let myself and 'ChurchCrawler' Phil inside to look around.

Unlike power plants, solar panels produce no harmful side effects for the environment. Installing solar panels to your home is one way to do your part to help the planet. As far as scientists can tell, sunlight won’t end for billions of years, meaning that solar energy is a seemingly endless source. As long as the sun is in the sky, your solar panels will be working to create electricity for your home. View more Annapolis-Baltimore Eco-friendly yard design photos.

N754’s instrument panel incorporated several features to ease the burden of the pilot, who had to fly the aircraft AND count birds. One such feature was a set of engine warning lights that was placed near eye level atop the panel on the pilot side. The pilot would likely see a bright, flashing warning light even if his attention was diverted while counting birds.
