Panel Switchman using transmission measuring test set. Circa early 1970's. The various colored bars actually represented outgoing trunks with colors used to delimit trunks groups. There was one jack for each outgoing trunk. The green cords shown plugged into trunks are how the Switchman would access trunks for testing. The gray device his left hand is on was used to measure the signal coming back from a distant offices miliwatt 1000 cycle test line. Below his left arm are the rows of buttons used to enter the number you wanted dialed on the trunk by the OGT circuits. The OGT contained a mini sender for trunk testing. An old example used to be 0077 for 1000 cycle test tone and 0085 for test line test (answer supervision test). These numbers no longer apply.

The panel. It looks as if the radio fit will comprise of a KX165A nav/com and GTX328 transponder.

Another character feature on this bedroom wall Great backdrop to any bed...Covering up unsightly plaster on this wall worked a treat!

This panel was used to display stuck Senders and make them busy if necessary.

As can be seen in the photo Sender 303 C is stuck. Its lamp is lit.

This small Individual Function Switch panel at Immingham East Junction SB controlled the entrance to the single line Light Railway towards Grimsby, and access to the disused Immingham Freight Terminal, about quarter of a mile round the corner from the box.

This location is near to the replacement Immingham East SB site and became known as Queens Road Junction.

About five months after this photo was taken, Immingham East Junction SB was closed with its area of control being remodelled and taken over by a small NX panel in a modular building round the corner.

The short lived replacement Immingham East Junction box itself ceased to be a signalling control location from Christmas Eve 2015 when it was closed and control transferred to the North Lincs Workstation at York ROC, photos of which can be found later in this album.

an informational panel i was asked to create to promote the environmentality of the University of Huddersfield's newly built School of Art, Design and Architecture.

the panel is linked to LED readouts (white boxes) from each of the energy sources which state how much energy has been produced. i am particularly happy with the little symbols. actual size 650 x 900mm.

Looking at the Panel and Diagram.

On the top and bottom row of switches on the right you can see where the newer type of switch was used when the latter edition of the Burnley Sidings was added to the panel.

So easy to make!! I'll show you here.

Panel-quilt from Marcus Fabrics.

Usually I prefer to make my own quilts (don't use panel print), but this was so cosy, I had to quilt it :-)

Vanligvis foretrekker jeg å applikere mine egne quilter, men jeg syns dette ferdigtrykte panelstoffet var så koselig, så jeg måtte bare lage en quilt av det.

Det skal få pynte gangen vår i julen.

The New School

September 25, 2008

Pimlico Academy is a Visual and Performing Arts College based in Westminster, London. Pimlico benefitted from the £152million BSF (Building Schools for the Future) Programme (under Westminster Council) where they secured funds for a new sports hall that includes a new gym open to the wider public, an all weather floodlight pitch and a new community library and education centre.

The project aim was to significantly improve the sporting and education facilities at the school. Gooding Aluminium clad the sports auditorium walls with their lightweight, perforated aluminium wall panels, the ‘GA Ano-Sil Anodised finished panels' provided fantastic acoustics for the hall which is being enjoyed by over 1500 pupils.

The first panel of the day focused on the security threats and challenges that both Britain and America face, featuring contributions from The Rt Hon Sir Michael Fallon MP, former Secretary of State for Defence; Dr Karin von Hippel, Director-General of the Royal United Services Institute; Richard Daniel, Chief Executive and Managing Director at Raytheon; and Prof Michael Clarke, former Director-General of the RUSI.

For my NCFE Certificate in Photography Level 2

Overall comments were that they liked the shots, particularly no.1, 3, 7 and 9 but did not like 5! As a panel the shots were too varied and needed to work better together as a whole.
