A palindrome is a word, phrase, number, or other sequence of characters which reads the same backward or forward. Allowances may be made for adjustments to capital letters, punctuation, and word dividers.
This is my brother Samuel. He's an English teacher, has been for many years although this is his first year to teach English in the States. I don't think his students know how lucky they are. He's a super duper guy who also happens to be really good at teaching. He can teach anything--English, gymnastics, karate, photography. He loves what he does and he loves his students. I'm amazed by how big his heart is--he cares very much about each of the hundreds of students he's had over the years.

Paling is een bijzondere vis. Als transparante glasalen drijven ze mee met de wereldstromen en spreiden zo uit over de hele wereld. Wanneer ze na jaren vertoeven in zoet of brak water geslachtsrijp zijn, beginnen palingen aan de terugtocht naar de paaiplaatsen in de Sargassozee om daar zich voort te planten en te sterven.
Palindrome vertelt op mythische wijze deze opmerkelijke levensloop van de paling.

So basically I am cheating. This is something I took and developed at camp over the summer. But I'm not really up for this whole 365 thing today because I know it will suck since it's late and I'm not prepared or anything and I am trying to grow, not hate my work. Maybe I'm supposed to hate my work to be able to grow, maybe I should have taken a picture today. It doesn't matter. All I know is how much I love this picture.
I miss film. Maybe that's why I have been so uninspired lately.

Palindromes are a wonderful play on words that date back to ancient times. Luckily Tiny does not suffer from "aibohphobia" or a fear of palindromes.
Also Tiny wants to assure you that no real worms were harmed during the shoot today.

I wanna call this a palindrome coz it looks the same on both the sides..... Frankly, I myself was confused of what's the front and what's the back. This pic was meant to show you what I mean.....
Yes, it's another odometer shot with a palindromic number. With this display, it not only reads the same backwards and forwards, it reads the same upside down. Taken in my 2000 Dodge Stratus, Owings Mills, MD, January 11, 2012.
It's a couple of days too late, but I didn't see this until today. There were a couple of things mentioned at the end (day 33 of 2020, and 333 days remaining in the year) that I hadn't seen before.
The palindrome happened to fall on the same day that the Super Bowl was played in the US. To play with that a little, Saguaro National Park (where I saw this posted) put together a program called the Superb Owl.

A British Airways 747 taking off from Heathrow Airport.
The image is deliberately symmetrical to visually echo the palindromic title "747" (a word that's the same written back to front). This palindrome is also a little bit more unusual (for photographic purposes) as it's a numerical one.
Yes yes yes, like the sad idiot I am, I stood at the end of one of the main runways at Heathrow, just outside of the perimeter fence of the airport, in the cold and the wet, amongst other pimply-face anorak-clad plane spotters, waiting for "the shot". I'm just not sure how I didn't get picked up by the local police for looking suspicious :-) :-(
Incidentally, a link has been suggested between painting symmetical paintings and various forms of madness (Vincent Van Gogh, HR Giger, etc.). Mmmmmmm, where's my straight jacket? ;^)
