My wife's and my Jotters and Moleskines. We found a breast cancer awareness edition of the Jotter at the Harbor yesterday and my black one at the grocery store at 11:00 p.m. last night.

This pair of pigeons had a lovely mating game going on on the wall of the parking lot at CMC. Nice little moment for me before my drive home after a long day at work. ^_^
Playing with a little Canon G10 point & shoot I bought to reduce the amount of photo gear I lug to work (when cycling)or on family outings.

Vintage salt and pepper shaker pair of poodles in perky pink and pretty pale white that once belonged to my Grandmother J.
When I first created the wedding swan, my intention was to only build the one. But the second thing she said to me after seeing it was "Can you build a second one?"

Latest arrival on the farm is a Bedford RL, originally an AFS pipe layer. Parked here next to the resident Green Goddess. The smell of petrol is slowly creeping in...
I noticed today that my pair of Nuthatches are acting very differently now. They never feed together normally - one waits up on the tree trunk, up side down, while the other makes a fast dash to the feeder, grabs a nut or seed and the disappears for 5 minutes. But today they are both really going for it; to-ing and fro-ing constantly, with one taking from the bird table while the other cleans up the mesh dish. You can see from the photos below (even worse light here) how many sunflower seeds she's packing in to her beak. They return way too fast for them to have eaten all the seeds, so I think they must be building a cache somewhere. Either that, or - and I hope not - they have new chicks to feed.

A pair of narra doors with delicate carvings
Early 1900s
Laguna
Narra wood
94 x 174 x 5 cm (37 x 68 1/2 x 2 in) each
This pair of arched doors in narra wood is framed with mutiple grooves. The carvings, which are only on one side, show strong influence of the American Federal style with elements of both Baroque and Neoclassical in fine and well-studied composition. The carved oculi with scalloped curtains framing and moulded scroll work are Baroque, while the reverse laurel leaf and ribbon swags are clearly Neoclassical.
There are some deterioration on the carving of one side of the wreath of one door, but overall in beautiful original condition.
