Watched what at first sight I thought was a mating habit of a pair of Mallard ducks, but soon realised that the poor duck under the water was another male (Drake).

I can only assume that they were both vying for the favours of the female. I had to tell my granddaughter who was with me that they were just 'playing' ;)'

The background was distressed by staining with coffee and red food dye, the edges were further distressed with a combination of "wet cement" and "ice blue" ink pads. A sun-face and other symbols were stamper in ice-blue. The title was stamped in red and finally a terracotta ink was used to hide the whiteness of the sides.
