On our way from Columbia, SC to Ocala, Florida, we stopped to get gas in Darien, GA where we happened upon this little cemetary, which is located right in the middle of this gas station/truck stop parking lot. I found it to be really odd but cool at the same time. In this little cemetary, there are: 3 pairs of crosses, a single cross behind the fence (you can kind of see it), and 2 "typical" gravestones right next to eachother (one big and one small). The bigger gravestone dates this woman, Rebecca West from 1843-1912. I just thought this place was a fantastic and very random find and had to take a bunch of pictures.
Hopkins & Thomas, of the RAOC & Pioneer Corps respectively, who both died on Feb 4th 1944.
Killed by an explosion of ordinance that more or less wiped them out in seconds.
An interesting pair of airplanes flew over Cable Airport this afternoon. They circle over the San Antonio Heights ares for a while. My guess is this was a photo shoot. The FW 190 will be featured at the Living History event at the Planes of Fame Air Museum tomorrow morning (1/8/11).

The left urn depicts the Elysian Fields in Hoboken, NJ. The right urn depicts Lower Manhattan as seen from Governor's Island.
I bought a pair of Perry Ellis Jacksons for my interview, but now that I know that isn't going to happen, I took everything else back and kept the shoes and socks, So I guess these will become my Duckie shoes, I know they are not white or have the buckles, but these are dress shoes that I will have to wear like Duckie Dale did in Pretty in Pink.
So I got the Lens Baby Spark as part of a package deal and I am trying it out for the first time. It does take some getting used to, both focusing and composition. I like the macro part of it. Working on the landscape part of it. Portraits will probably be the hardest.
