When IC&E first started up, it leased a group of ex-BN SD40-2s from First Union. Their FURX reporting marks gave them the nickname "furballs". Train is passing through Bensenville in 2003.

Thank you for taking your time to view my photos. This young pair of Eagles have taken over 2 Eaglet chicks that lost the mom and and the Father just left. The Eaglets are doing fine the new caretakers are holding their own.

One weekend I went to visit friends in Kallista in the Dandenong Ranges to the East of Melbourne. In their garden they grow Nasturtiums.
These two blooms seemed to be a proud and perfect pair: a married couple as it were.
Nasturtium is the common name for Tropaeolum, which is also known commonly as Nasturtian. Nasturtium translates literally as "nose-twister" or "nose-tweaker". It is a genus of roughly eighty species of annual and perennial herbaceous flowering plants. Native to South and Central America, the genus includes several very popular garden plant. The Nasturtium's leaves and flowers are edible: the leaves having a hot onion-like taste and the flowers a sweetness.
Kallista is a pretty little village in te heart of the Dandenong Ranges with an appoximate population of 1,400 people. Along with the other towns of the Dandenong Ranges, Kallista is celebrated for its picturesque natural setting, wealth of heritage and luxury houses and gardens, and country atmosphere all within commuting distance to inner Melbourne. The Post Office opened around 1902 and was known as South Sassafras until 1925. Australian Impressionist artist Tom Roberts lived in Kallista between 1856 and 1931.
Australian poet and author C. J. Dennis wrote much of his "The Songs of a Sentimental Bloke" in Kallista between 1913 and 1914 at a grand property called "Sunnyside" (sadly long since burned down). In the early part of the Twentieth Century, Kallista was a a distant holiday hill town popular with wealthy Melbournians who wanted a country escape. It wasn't really until the Great Depression when the wealthy could no longer afford the upkeep on their holiday homes and sold them, that a more permanent populace moved in, hoping to live off the rich soils of the area. Today Kallista still carries an air of exclusivity with large blocks, many old houses and large blocks of land filled with stunning gardens.
Major decisions by Travis Berridge and Luke Wilson powered the Gold team to a 14-6 victory over the Green squad in Cal Poly wrestling's annual intrasquad meet on a warm and sunny Friday afternoon in the University Union plaza.
Berridge scored a 15-4 major decision over Ryan Anderson at 174 pounds, notching five takedowns, a two-point near fall and a reversal along with riding time.
Wilson wrestling in his first match as a Mustang after battling injuries for three years, earned a 13-5 major decision against Joe Granger at 165 pounds. Wilson, a Righetti High School graduate, recorded four takedowns, a reversal and an escape plus riding time for the win.
Wilson's final takedown with seven seconds left sealed the victory.
Also winning for the Gold team were Ty Schilling at 133 pounds and Glenn Farina at 141.
Trailing 2-0 after two periods, Schilling earned an escape and two takedowns for a 5-3 win over Yoshito Funakoshi while Farina scored two first-period takedowns on his way to an 8-5 triumph over Curtis Booth.
Victories for the Green squad were posted by Joshy Cortez at 149 pounds and Thomas Lane at 184.
Cortez notched an escape to start the second period and rode out Jason DeLaCruz in the final period for riding time and a 2-0 victory while Lane tallied an escape and penalty point in the first period, a takedown in the second period and a pair of escapes in the final period for a 6-5 win over Sohrab Movahedi.
"We thought the guys competed hard today," first-year Mustang head coach Jon Sioredas said of his coaching staff. "It was a great outdoor setup with great weather."
