Result — A hexagonal prism separating the spaghetti into six individual serving sizes. The idea being the packaging can then be kept, refilled and used again and again.

There are all these things wrapped in leaves and bound with string all over S E Asia. I am never sure what might be inside, tho I imagine usually that it is sticky rice. Sometimes there are several shapes and sizes of wrapped stuff, which makes me think there must be a difference in what is inside. I bet that there is a standard way of wrapping stuff so that the locals know what's inside. And I bet that this varies from region to region. (Kind of like drug dealers using specifically colored caps on their vials.)
