Day 1: 4D3N Bromo Surabaya Tour Package – Surabaya on arrival – Bromo
Meet and Great by tour guide at Surabaya Airport. Then direct proceed to Hotel at Bromo for overnight. Lunch and Dinner at Local Restaurant.
Day 2: 4D3N Bromo Surabaya Tour Package – Bromo – Surabaya
03.30 AM early morning you will wake up call, by Jeep proceed to Mt. Pananjakan waiting for Sun Rise, next crossing the sea of sand, and you can reach the foot of Mt. Bromo by walk or rent a Horse. From the foot of Mt. Bromo continue by 245 step on foot will tahe you to the top of Mt. Bromo, enjoy the scnery of Bromo Crater and Beautiful surrounding panorama. Transfer back to hotel, having breakfast at hotel, then take a shower and prepare for check out. Check out hotel and proceed to Tanggulangin Village as the center of leather products and embroideries, next transfer to Surabaya City, visit Mirota Batik and Handicfart center, dinner at local restaurant, check in hotel and free at leisure time.
Day 3: 4D3N Bromo Surabaya Tour Package – Surabaya City Tour
Morning visit Madura Island by corssing Suramadu Bridge as the longest in Indonesia. Next visit House of Sampoerna Museum and Jembatan Merah Plaza Shopping Mall ( Pasar Borong Surabaya ), Lunch at Local Restaurant, visit Madura Island by Crossing Suramadu Bridge as the longest in Indonesia, visit Ampel Mosque and Arab Market, visit Sub Marine Monument, Dinner at Local Restaurant, transfer back to Hotel and free at leisure time.
Day 4: 4D3N Bromo Surabaya Tour Package – Surabaya – Transfer out
Breakfast at hotel, check out hotel and transfer to Surabaya Airport for your next departure.

Today i got a fantastic package from the dynamic duo, 64Colors - and what a package!
Not only did it contain BOTH of their 3" Dunnys from the 2011 series (easily my favourite designs!) but a matching print too! Beautiful!
If that wasn't enough, they were accompanied by a hardarse, cigar smoking Marshall who means business and his ever so cheerful GID Gumdrop!
I gotta say, i'm a HUGE fan of Gumdrop. He's even cooler in the hand than i thought he was gonna be, and man, i thought he was cute as a button.
So yeah, massive thanks to 64Colors on this rainy London morning, it sure got brighter all of a sudden!

Fizeau Instrumentation Package
You are looking at an instrumentation package that was recovered from the Fizeau bunker at the Nevada Test Site. The package, which was suspended on a coil spring to absorb the jolt from the explosion, was called a "pogo stick" by the workers. The bunker housed the scientific instruments, recorders, and cameras used to capture temperature, pressure, radiation, and neutron flux data generated by the Fizeau device which was exploded 500 feet above the bunker. Prior to archaeological recovery of this instrumentation package, the tape recorders and a unique system that minimized the damaging effects of the electromagnetic pulse had been removed from between the control box (top) and the seven-panel plug-in instrument cluster (center). The plug-in instrument panels you see were used to calibrate individual weapon components prior to the test. Above the panels are cables leading to the metal control box that were used to relay the first few milliseconds of the Fizeau event signal to 84 tape recorder channels. There were three other instrumentation packages in the bunker with different instrument clusters that included oscilloscopes and oscillographs.
Preserving America's Nuclear Testing Heritage
America's atmospheric testing program was of extraordinary significance both nationally and internationally. The specialized instrumentation and support facilities are the most visible reminders of this watershed period in American history. Most of the remaining artifacts from this program exist at the Nevada Test Site. The Desert Research Institute began historical evaluations of nuclear testing structures in 1991 and later expanded its mission to include historic preservation activities, recovering artifacts, and collecting paper records and oral histories. In November 2000, a team surveyed the Fizeau bunker to determine its present contents. Emery Whitlow, a former Sandia National Laboratories employee who had worked in the Fizeau bunker in 1957, served as the team's subject matter expert. William Gray Johnson, an archaeologist with the Desert Research Institute, headed the recovery of the Fizeau instrumentation package. He is shown at right dressed in anti-contamination gear, which was required as a precaution but, as expected, proved unnecessary.

-Last but definitely not least, a little wall hanging from some FFA2 which I can't wait to hang on my wall with the other decorations I've received lately :)

Rupert: Hey guys we got a package. The post man just crammed it in the letter box without telling us. It looks like its from kawaigirl1.
As you can see from the short depth of field in this shot, I just got the Canon 50mm F/1.8 lens, an incredibly cheap ($80), light, small lens. The price and weight are especially surprising for a lens with such a wide aperture. Should be great for night shots. (Most of my shots at Roshi's birthday party at the Zendo Friday night were shit, because my kit lens couldn't open wide enough. I either had to shoot too slow, so everyone was blurred, or too dark.) However, I'm already pining for Canon's 50mm F/1.4 USM, which is about $300 but opens even wider and allows a combo of autofocus and manual. It's no surprise I'm turning into a gadget geek so early in my photographic career....

i'm all about reduce/reuse/recycle... Piddix has done it! i ordered some digital images on CDs and she sent them wrapped in 1950s pages! awesome! i could probably cut apart the postcard and use it in my crafts, too.. and the thank you card can be cut to be sent as a postcard! how nice!
