Another newly discovered Moonmen Drink Mix flavor.
I drew the alien and the Moonmen logo with the pen tool in InDesign. The logo is hand-lettered, but based loosely on a real font. I added the symbol in the middle because nothing says 1960s space age like an atom. Then I imported those elements into Photoshop, where the rest of the text, the packet and shading were done.

My Portfolio: Package Design
The Mojito Collection is a high-end bartending kit that contains all the necessary utensils required to make a Mojito: a popular Cuban drink that consists of limes, mint and white rum. The products incorporated into the kit: a shaker, muddler, jigger, flavored sugar tin, two glasses, ice tongs, a cutting board and knife.
To avoid disposal, the package was designed with multiple second uses. The base is not only equipped for safe transportation of the products, but it also functions as a countertop display wrack. The lid doubles as an ice bucket, making The Mojito Collection the perfect on the go beverage kit.

From my Spring 2009 Package Design 1 course at Art Center College of Design. The brief was simple: redesign a compact florescent lightbulb package. Here's the description of my concept, taken from my final presentation:
The compact florescent light bulb (CFL) is a recent innovation that combines radically reduced electricity usage with a significantly longer bulb life span. While the bulbs themselves are appealing to the environmentally conscious, the packaging for the bulbs has been less than environmentally friendly. Until now.
Made from 100% recycled White-Line newsback and printed with soy inks, this packaging compliments the eco-friendly contents. The box includes information on proper disposal for CFLs and a postage-paid mail return sticker, enabling the consumer re-use the original packaging when returning the bulb to GE for proper disposal.
Finally, extensive research has shown that if a customer can be persuaded to take a GE product off the shelf, there is a 70% chance they will purchase it. This innovative and refreshing package design will ensure that the GE CFLs will stand out, making this a good choice for the environment, as well as GE’s bottom line.

Designed for my Package Design class. We were asked to come up with a concept for a regional gift/novelty item that worked both stand-alone and a three-piece set. My state was Oklahoma, so I looked to the Miami Indian roots of the state for inspiration. From there the stew idea was born.

My friend found and bought her favorite childhood candy while visiting Spokane....We all had a taste and....yuck...though I do like the wrapper design..I would not venture to try the recipes on the back... these are separate images combined in photoshop
