This bike has had its headset, bottom bracket, cranks, seat post bolt, saddle clamp, seat tube, pedals, and chain replaced with higher quality components. The pie plate on the front of the chain case has been cut out to make room for the slightly larger drive side crank arm.

This Snow Goose was banded on Bylot Island in August of 2019. Respotted at Wood's Edge Park in Lancaster.

This is about 200+ lbs of turf - enough to fill one 8'x20' parking spot. "Tippy" doesn't even begin to describe how it felt to ride the bakfiets loaded down with this much stuff. A friend of mine actually hauled 7 of these pieces of turf in his old Chevy truck (he got to keep the turf at the end of the night).
